Today I would like to share with steemian friends the cost of meal in Singapore. In this article, I will share the brunch & dinner I had today in Singapore neighbourhood hawker center.

Many would think Singapore as an developed country , cost of living including the meals would be expensive. To be frank, 10years plus ago before I came to Singapore and reside in neighbour country Malaysia, I also thought that Singapore daily expenses would be high. But after came and lived here for quite sometime, I found it's not really true if comparing dollar to dollar especially in food.

This morning I went to the hawker center for brunch. As today is weekend and especially Sunday , you would need spend a long time looking for seats, so we decided to buy take away food.

We chose our favourite vegetarian economic noodle stall.

The food choices are limited, only thin noodles which we call it Meehun , and all the side dishes which you can add as per your wish. (Meehun is their signature noodle, until they can survive purely with it)

We ordered 3 packets, 2 packets each with fried toufu, vege and fried vegetarian food, 1 packet purely the meehun as topup. All 3 packets cost S$6.60

Then I also order a cup of soy bean drink to take away, per cup S$1.10

Dinner, we walked to the center for Indian prata.The restaurant named after Prata Raya. As it was raining in the evening, we found to take in spicy food as timely as the weather became cold.

We ordered in total 3 plain prata & 1 egg prata , together with a canned drink , all in total S$7.30

Today we have spent $6.60+ 1.10 + 7.30 =S$15 , equals to USD$10.85 and 52.2 steem

早午餐我们去了家里附近的素食摊打包了素食米粉，两包是加料的，一包则是净米粉来加粉的。一共花了新币6.60

也买了一包豆浆回家，新币1.10

晚餐时段， 由于下午下了一场大雨，所以我们决定吃印度薄饼咖喱暖一暖身，我们点了3片空薄饼加一片蛋薄饼，并点了一瓶罐装水，一共新币7.30

算一算，今天花在食物上是新币15元，折合大约10.85美元。
