We live in the city. There is no place like village in our house. The people of the village can grow and eat different types of vegetables in their land. But we have no choice. So we have to grow vegetables on the roof of our house or in the balcony. We cannot plant more trees as there is less space on the roof. We have several plants of kalmi shak on the roof of our house. So that the plants of kalmi shak can propagate quickly, we gave it to the forest. The stem on kalmi shak is growing very fast. Our trees are very big and plump. We sometimes eat the greens of our plants. I also give it to acquaintances.

Kalmi shak is a type of creeping plant. The leaves of the kalmi shak are eaten as a vegetable. Kale contains many nutrients. This tree is found everywhere in Bangladesh And this vegetable is very popular among the people of district.

It is a herbaceous plant. Its stems are soft. It propagates very rapidly during monsoon. Its branches spread very rapidly. The stems of kalmi shak are thick and juicy. The leaves of kalmi shak are smooth and slightly slippery. The stems of kalmi shak are green in color. The flowers of kalmi shak are white and pink in color.

Kalmi shak contains iron and calcium. It is very beneficial for human body. Its combination is effective in curing many diseases. As a remedy for various diseases, many eat greens.
