Power-SIC Week 38: My Power-Up Process

In the online world, there are thousand and one of blogging website each having their rules and principles. But, there is one whose rules are different from the rest which is the power up initiative. This rule is only applicable on a blogging website called Steemit. Power up in Steemit refers to the act whereby the user is expected to save a percentage of their earning. The percentage can be 50% (club5050), 75% (club75) and 100% (club100). The unique fact here is that users can withdraw their saving anytime. So, in this article, I'll be analysing how I powered up my steem.

Before a power up is completed, series of actions must be done. I'll show you the process on how I powered up my steems.

• The first stage is to log in to your Steemit Wallet. You can't perform any transaction without logging in else you are tagged an intruder.

• In the logged in wallet, click the arrow near your liquid steems to bring out a pop-up box
• Click power up in the pop-up box

• In the dialog box, input the number of steems you wished to power up, then click power up

• In the next dialog box, click Ok. Then, your steems will be converted to Steem Power

The powerup initiative is really targeted to favour the user. Here are some benefits of powering up.

• Reviving The Power Of Saving: It is true that most people operate on the principle named "Hands to mouth". This principle means that the person consumed all his/her earning for the day, week or month. In Steemit, the power up initiative has helped to break that gene or principle. Here, the users saving strength is renewed. When it is renewed here, the users can save his resources within or outside Steemit.
• User's Influence Is Strengthened: In the old and modern society, there is something that is always noticed. The set of people with most possession of properties or treasures is tagged influential. This is likewise to the Steemit Ecosystem which users with more steems or steem power are regarded influential. Power-up is a mean where a less influential user turn influential due to conversion of steem to steem power.
  In general, Power-up is something that has help a lot of steemians and will still helps many in the future.
