Making Process


Step- I


Take a fine mesh sieve to keep the dry ingredients together. I first added a small amount of salt. After adding salt I took flour there. As I mentioned earlier I will use one cup of flour to make today's cake.

Then add powdered milk there. I have used two spoons of milk powder here. You can use raw milk instead of powered milk if you want. But I always try to make cake with powdered milk.

Now with the help of that slotted sieve, strain all the ingredients well into a bowl. You can see in the picture that some grainy ingredients have come out on top. Using these grainy ingredients does not make the cake smooth so they have to be discarded. Basically we sift these ingredients through a sieve to separate these granular ingredients.

Now take half table spoon of baking soda. I have used Organic's Baking Soda here. Take half a tablespoon of baking powder with baking soda.

Step- V


In the next step of making the cake, I turn on the electric oven to pre-heat. I turn on the oven to preheat for 10 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.

Step- VI


Break three eggs and take them in a bowl. In making any cake, we have to take eggs of normal temperature. If frozen eggs are used, the cake will not be puffy, so take it out of the fridge 20-30 minutes before making the cake. Now take 1 cup sugar with egg.

Step- VII


In this step take half cup of oil along with egg and sugar and beat it with a beater. I used an electric hand beater. You can beat it with a spoon if you want.

Step- VIII


Now pour the palm juice into the mixture of oil, egg and sugar and beat it again. The mixture should not be over-beaten. Beat for 1-2 minutes. After adding the palm juice, the color of the mixture will become brighter.

Step- IX


Now pour the powdered ingredients into this mixture and gently stir with a spatula to mix well. This should be done carefully.

Now pour the cake batter into a mold. Here I used an aluminum mold. Before pouring the cake mixture in the mold, brush oil on it and set a paper. This will help to lift the cake.

Now let the mold bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, take the cake out of the oven, place it on a plate, slice and eat. It is very tasty.

Una extraordinaria receta la que nos presentas, un pastel de ciruela nunca lo he probado pero debe ser genial porque el biscochito es muy rico y la ciruela también, combinados deben ser una bomba de sabores.

Awh this cake looks delicious!
I've not seen the plum juice here in South Africa, but I suppose I can use any other juice as long as it is a thick juice, according to your photos.
You've explained the recipe so nicely and shown step-by-step how to make this cake that I am sure if we have to try it, it will not be a flop. Thank you.

Yummy cake you make, your steps are easy to understand with pictures that are clear, just feel like having a slice now awwwn 😍 but I'm still thinking how and where I can see the plum juice over here, I need to try this recipe out.
