We have a wealth of delicious treats in Pakistan. Our land abundance is unmatched from our fragrant coffee produced in cloudy the mountains to our cocoa from lush forests. Our rivers are bordered by rice fields while our hillsides are covered in tea bushes.

Ginger and cardamom are two spices that provide our food character. Every area has a unique culinary charm including filling rice dishes to rich chocolate sweets. Come experience the abundance of our country where each taste and bite delivers a story of tradition and flavor.

The golden grains that sprang from our fields filled the air with a lovely earthy smell. Wheat grows abundantly and feeds our country from the sun kissed fields of Sindh to the lovely plains of Punjab. We use it to make delicious breads like naan and chapatis.

Around tables families gather to break bread together while exchanging laughs and stories. It is more than simply a crop it is a representation of our strength and unity that sustains us from sunrise to sunset.

Our meals are made more interesting by the addition of spinach, carrots and peppers from our rainbow-colored gardens. Because they are bursting with taste and vitamins families enjoy choosing fresh vegetables together. Our backyard produces so much delicious food that each meal is a celebration of the abundance of nature.

Pakistan is a fruit loving country. Our orchards are brimming with delicious finds from luscious oranges and crunchy apples to sweet mangoes bursting with juice. There is something for everyone taste the juicy goodness of a fresh pineapple or chow down on a delicious peach.

Exotic fruits that thrive in our sunny climate such pomegranates and guavas also add flavor to our menus. Every taste is like taking a juicy piece of paradise because there are so many mouthwatering fruits to pick from.

Maize and Rice

In Pakistan cultivating our own food is very important. Our fields are vast and full of golden maize that swings in the wind. Under the sun rice paddies shimmer offering our families substantial lunches.

We rejoice in our land bounty with every harvest because we know that our rice and maize will provide us with food all year long. These grains which are lovingly and carefully grown right here at home are the foundation of our culinary traditions appearing in everything from delicious bread to warm rice dishes.
