You can't use or modified Steemit logo, its strictly prohibited. You can read here:

One may not make unauthorized commercial use of, reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute copies, perform, or publicly display the Steemit logo or brand

    I haven't made commercial use of the logos. This logo will stay within the Steemit sphere only. Still if this cannot be used, let the judges decide.

    The only reason I used the logos was because the contest required Steem and Steemit logo to be included.
