I thank the admins and moderators of this platform for always organizing contests for us and we can participate happily. I may participate in every contest or engagement challenge on this platform and some of my own content. The Steemit Iron Chef community challenge this week is on a Food TV program. This week the Steemit Iron Chef community challenge is to answer all food related questions and programs I have seen on Food TV.

What has been your favorite food TV show of all time, the one you remember watching as a child with your mom or your grandmother, or what is your current favorite and why is it?

When I was a child I don't remember if there was any cooking channel on the TV show in our country. But after the dish antenna came to our house, there was a cooking show on Indian Channel Zee TV called Khana KhaZana.

The show featured Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor's cooking show. He used to show the dishes very nicely and give cooking tips. I used to watch this cooking show every Sunday and try to cook like that.

This is how I first started watching cooking shows. Later, a cooking show started showing in our country on Channel NTv. The name of the cooking show was Siddika Kabir's Bangla Recipe. She started showing a wide variety of cuisines like local and foreign items snacks, rich food and baked items.Her show became so popular that I used to watch his cooking show every week. I liked this show very much. Although she is not alive among us today, I have learned many cooking and tips from her recipes.

I loved to cook as a child so I used to watch any cooking show very attentively and later try to cook like that. Later another cooking show that was popular with me and everyone was an Indian MASTER Chef OR AUSTRALIA Master Chef. It was both a cooking tutorial and a cooking show that I tried to watch every episode of. Besides, I used to watch various cooking shows local or foreign channels on TV programs.

Do you think that through TV shows is an attractive way to learn new recipes or cooking tips? give us some reasons.

Nowadays cooking and anything related to cooking is very important. We live in this world by eating food. While providing this food, we are working in various occupations just to make a living by eating three meals a day.

Actually cooking is an art. But not everyone has this art. If there is no joy in cooking, cooking is not tasty. We all do cooking, but is everyone good at cooking?

Again we use the same spices and the same ingredients but the taste and taste are not the same.

Currently I don't watch cooking shows. Some of the baking items I have learned through training and any cooking recipe and cooking technique are now available on youtube channel so just search on youtube to see all the cooking related videos.

  • There are cooking training centers where we can do and learn chef courses. But it is not possible for everyone to go to the training center. Also not everyone has the ability to learn complete cooking courses with a lot of money.

  • I think we can learn cooking at home through TV. It saves time and effort and does not cost money.

  • And if one wants to take it as a pay profession, one can learn for chef course certificate by spending a little money.

  • It can be watched anytime on TV and video can be recorded and stored. Later on the facility will be viewed as needed.

  • Through TV shows we can also get various cooking tips at home.

These two recipes I learned to cook by watching various youtube videos.

Not only can we watch local item cooking shows on TV, we can watch any cuisine related program from any country in the world at home and also cook and eat variety from our own country. Cuisine from all countries for TV programs is now at our fingertips.

At What time would you like us to be on the air, and what would be the type of food that would most attract your attention to learn on your favorite food TV show, desserts, snacks,savory meals?

My country's timing and your country's timing are not the same time. So you can broadcast it at any time according to your convenience, but if the program is recorded, I can watch it at my convenient timing. I love the local food of my country the most. Khichuri, biryani, snacks, seasonal local fruits.

I like vegetable items from any country especially Indian cuisine. As for foreign items, I like Thai pudding and Thai fruits very much. Besides, dessert cakes, sweets, ice cream can be learned. Especially veg and fruits salad and variety of cake items I want to learn best.



What are for you the main qualities of a chef to attract the attention of his public?

We all love to eat any delicious food, but can everyone cook delicious food? Just as you need a skilled cook to cook delicious meals throughout the day, you also need skilled cooking techniques. Not everyone knows or tries to know all the cooking techniques. Just cooking food does not make it tasty. It also requires a special technique to make it taste good, so some formal training is also needed.

To be a good chef, he must have the basic knowledge of cooking. It is not enough to cook and check whether the food is suitable for everyone.

  • He should have special knowledge about various local dishes and their ingredients.
  • He should also know the technique of preparing food according to the menu and which food should be mixed with which food.
  • Must have knowledge about food quality and nutrition.
  • Must have the ability to properly perform the responsibility of keeping the kitchen and cooking utensils clean.
  • A chef must have a touch of modernity in cooking so that he can hold his own in the cuisine of any country.

Finally, how healthy, hygienic and germ free a person prepares food is the main issue. If food is not prepared and served hygienically, the food will be unfit for consumption. A safe should always keep this in mind. Then one can become a good quality safe.The kitchen environment should be healthy and the chef should be healthy.

Finally we give you the opportunity to create a name for the food program on Saturday night, what would you call it? What kind of food would you focus on?; it might as well be u, preparations for a special event, cooking tips, any subject related to food, not necessarily the preparation of a recipe.

I am listing here a meal plan for Saturday night that I served at my house one night for guests. I usually want to highlight our native food traditions. As Bengalis we eat a little Richitem on any occasion. Plain rice, chicken roast and beef items are the food menu for any local wedding or party. It is usually the main course. Along with this many keep veg items and fish. Finally there is a desert. And other food items are served depending on one's taste and ability.

Here are the items I served tonight-

Plain rice
Chicken Roast
Beef curry with potato
Cucumber Salad
Lemon and soft drinks.
For dessert I gave special my boy a birthday cake.
Special care should be taken to ensure that each dish is delicious.

Cooking Tips

If a chef does not see cooking as an enjoyment, then the cooking will never taste good. No matter how much passion and sweaty labor he cooks, if he does not have joy in his heart, no matter how many spices and ingredients he uses in that cooking, it will be inedible. So the main tip is happiness.

  • When we cook, if we prepare everything in advance, it will be convenient and faster to cook.

  • When cooking any fish, the smell of scales and blood of the meat comes, in that case, if you keep it with vinegar salt and water for 2-3 minutes and cook it well, those smells will go away.
  • If you wash and drain anything while cooking, oil will not splatter while frying.

  • A little sugar can be added to remove the bitterness of the bitter gourd and the less time the gourd is kept on the gas stove during cooking, the less bitterness will be required.
