STEEMIT IRON CHEF ACT 1 ROUND 08: Baked Zucchini with Boiled Scallops
Greetings to all my fellow Iron Chefs and to all Food Lovers of Steemit,
Zucchini is a rare vegetable to me. I think it is not found in the Philippines. In Japan, I tried to make stir fried zucchini and it taste like cucumber. This time, I tried to bake it without an oven. I used only a pot because I don't have an oven. It is always fun in every round and I hope I can create a nice and impeccable dish someday.
Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|
Zucchini | 250 grams |
Boiled scallops | 120 grams |
Sliced Cheese | 126 grams |
Pepper powder | 1 tablespoon |
Procedure:
- In an aluminum plate melt the butter.
- Slice zucchini into coins about 1 cm an arrange into the aluminum plate and sprinkle with pepper powder.
- Put the scallops on the top of the zucchini.
- Top the sliced cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil.
- In a large pot, put a cake cooler at the base and that is a replacement for oven.
- Put the zucchini into the pot and bake for 30 minutes and done.
This is my first time baking and it is interesting. My Baked Zucchini with Boiled Scallops is cheezy and delicious. Zucchini, Scallops, and Cheese is a perfect combination in my taste.
This is a perfect healthy dish this Summer and also this time is a season of Zucchini where you can buy it everywhere with less price.
