Hello dear steemit iron chef community chefs how are you? We need food to survive and nutritious food. The taste, nutritional value and color of the foods we eat every day or every day are different. Not everyone likes all foods. Again, health conscious people regularly eat some nutritious food every day. Today I will talk about these nutritious food colors. What is the most used color of your food?

I am a foodie from Bangladesh. I love to eat food and don't care if the food is healthy. Turmeric is used in most of the curries we cook so the color of the food is yellow. Also, my food contains other colored food. For example, we prefer fish rice (we are Bengalis with fish rice), but the rice is white, but the use of yellow chili powder in the fish curry causes the rice to turn yellow while eating. Rice is our regular menu. We eat some delicious food without rice, we use sauce to enhance the taste of that food, the color of the sauce is red. But needless to say we use less turmeric in green vegetables which remain green even after cooking it is very beneficial for health.

Do you think that food colors represent nutrition?

Yes it is I believe that just as the color of food gives its identity, different colors of food represent its nutrition. Different colored foods contain different nutrients that help keep you healthy and active.

🍅 🍅Red colored food: Red food like tomato, watermelon, strawberry, capsicum helps to keep heart and eyes healthy. These foods are rich in nutrients such as vitamin A, antioxidants, sufficient iron and potassium.

🍌🍍Yellow colored foods: Foods rich in yellow color food production are very effective in improving skin health and skin radiance. Such foods are - ripe banana, pineapple, papaya, sweet pumpkin egg yolk etc.

🍊🥕Orange colored food: Such food is malta, carrot, orange, orange colored vegetables etc. Eating these foods keeps the eyes healthy as well as the respiratory system.

🍏🥒🥦Green colored food: Lemon, cucumber, guava, green apple, fresh vegetables contain a lot of vitamin 'C' which helps to boost our immune system.

🥛🍚White colored food: Pure white water, eggs, milk etc. Deficiency of water in the body may occur during summer. Therefore, to keep the body properly hydrated, these foods must be eaten.

What is your favorite color in food?

Although I am Bengali with fish and rice, I like to eat meat with rice and green salad. I eat white food like milk and eggs. But most of my food is yellow. We drink pure water for the body's water needs. A person does not eat food of a certain color, I also eat food of different colors. Such as green vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk.

Breakfast This morning I had two loaves of bread with fried potatoes and an egg poach. They are bread white in color, light yellow when fried potatoes, yellow after frying eggs.


At noon I eat rice it is my favorite food. The meal consists of white rice with two curries with cucumber and lemon.
