My Best Dairy Of The Week,,, 22/10/2024

Dear diary,,,

It was exactly 6:00am when my eldest sister came to my room,, woke me from sleep and ask me to go bath my niece and nephew. So I stood up immediately and went to my niece and nephew room, I woke them up and ask them to go wait for me in the bathroom while I bring hot water from the kitchen.

Immediately I was done bathing them,, I went outside to check if they have pumped water in a tap that is opposite my compound gate,, and luckily enough for me,, the water was already rushing,, so I quickly returned to our apartment, carried a black big rubber and started fetching water.

While I was fetching water,, my sister was dressing her children up for school,, and before I was done fetching water, they were set for school already,, so I quickly went to fetch water for the last time and when I returned, we observed the family morning devotion. After which my niece asked me to snap her and I did, before they left for school.

I swept and mopped the house immediately they left,, when I was done mopping,, I went straight to the bathroom and washed all our dirty clothes, and when I was done washing the clothes, I washed the bathroom before I went out to dry the clothes I washed.

After I was done with all this chores,, the next thing I did was to eat my breakfast,, when I was done eating my breakfast,, I took my bath, entered my room and slept for few hours.
When I woke up,, it was already time for me to go pick my niece and nephew from school. So I quickly went to their school and brought them back home.

They all were complaining of hunger, and I also was hungry, thank goodness the food my sister prepared for them in the morning was still remaining, so I hurriedly warmed the food and we all ate. After eating,, I went ahead to help them with their assignment.

When they were all done with their assignments,, I asked them to stay quiet in the parlor and watch the children show I played for the on the television, while they were quietly watching the show, I was busy in the kitchen preparing dinner. And few hours later,, dinner was ready and I dished it for everyone including myself.

After eating,, my sister asked me wash the bitter leave and saint leave she bought from the market for my uncle, He usually drinks it for his sugar level. When I was done washing it thoroughly,, I then filtered it. After which I bath my niece and nephew.

Few minutes later, they all fell asleep, so I carried them to their room. I swept the whole house because it was looking so unkept and it won't be good that we sleep in it like that. My niece and nephew can scatter things and tear papers unnecessarily for Africa😀,, I always sleep once they are asleep everyday.

When I was done sweeping the house, I went to the kitchen and washed the dirty plates that was there. After that, I went to the bathroom and took my evening bath. Before I was done with all this activities,, it was already few minutes pass 8:00pm. I was actually surprise though, because I was so busy with activities that I wasn't aware of how far the time has gone.

At this point,, I was so exhausted and at the same time, I had nothing doing for the day again, so I entered my room, said my night prayers and slept.

That was the end of my day😊
