Aoa Steemit Family

Today I am participating in the Steem-Atlas Season 26 Week 02 Contest and I am very excited to share my experience of visiting a beautiful natural place in my own village in Malakand, KPK Pakistan. This spot is located right in the heart of the Malakand mountains and it is a riverside where many tourists come from different parts of KPK to enjoy nature.

This place is locally known as Malakand 1 near JABBAN PARK, and it is one of the most famous picnic and tourist attractions in my area. I decided to explore it again recently with my family and I will share my journey and experience with you.

Starting the Journey

That day I told my father and sisters about the plan and they were very excited. We got ready and started our journey in our car. After 10–15 minutes of driving we reached near the riverside. On the way we stopped at a roadside stall to buy some corn called "Wagai" in our Pashto language. It was so fresh and tasty that it doubled our excitement.

As we continued the cold winds touched our faces and even though the river water was muddy due to recent rains the environment was still very refreshing.

Scenery and Landscape;

The place is surrounded by majestic Malakand mountains and the flowing river that makes the whole area look like a paradise. There are also small waterfalls nearby and plenty of spots where you can stop sit and enjoy the sound of water.

The air is very fresh the winds are strong and the views are breathtaking. I even climbed halfway up the mountain when the car could no longer go further and the road ended. We started walking, joking and laughing together. The peaceful scenery made us forget all our worries.

And yes I must say: if you look at my pictures you will surely feel jealous because the weather and wind there are just perfect..

Wildlife and Flora:

During the spring and summer seasons you can see purple wildflowers blooming all around which makes the whole riverside even more magical.

You can also spot different birds flying around.

The riverside is rich with green plants and trees that grow naturally.

Activities You Can Do Here:

This place is not just for sitting and relaxing you can also enjoy many activities:
Hiking – You can climb part of the Malakand mountains.
Photography – Countless photo spots with mountains, river and flowers.
Picnic – Families often bring food and enjoy together.
Exploring – Walking near the river feeling the wind and watching the scenic beauty.

Unfortunately there are not many facilities available here. If you plan to visit, you should be prepared.

Best Time to Visit

The best season to visit this place is Spring and Summer .
In spring, the purple flowers bloom, and the scenery looks straight out of a painting.
In summer, the cold river winds make the heat bearable.
Winters can be very cold, so I don’t recommend it for long stays.

Tickets and Entry

The best part is there is no entry fee at all!
It’s totally free for everyone, so you can enjoy nature without worrying about tickets.

My Personal Experience

This place is very special to me because it is part of my own village and I have so many memories here. Each visit gives me peace and happiness. Spending time with my family there eating corn, climbing mountains and laughing together was priceless.I clicked some photos for my father also.

If you ever plan to visit Malakand I strongly recommend coming to this riverside. Bring your family bring your food, and enjoy a natural paradise with fresh air cool winds and unforgettable scenery.
