Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | [16/06/2024] Attending Church Service And Selecting Chaff From The Crayfish

Happy Sunday to my beloved steemians across the globe, it's been awhile I've been here. My name still remain @missyleo and I'm excited to also participate in this contest.

Hope you all went to your places of worship today, and you were greatly blessed because i carried my own blessing in a bag full.

This morning I woke up around 5:30am and said some few words of prayer to my creator then I played a song on my phone, they very song we are going to minister as a choir today, I put the song on repeat so that it will take me through till I finished preparing for church.

I went about my morning chores, from there I entered into my personal morning hygiene, brushing teeth, bathing and dressing up.

Normally I don't always eat to church on Sunday morning, so I was set to moved, so I locked my door and off I moved. Got to the main road and pick a mini-bus that was going to my church location.

We got to the church and I paid the driver his money and strolled down into the church, I was lucky to go and meet as the Sunday school lesson was still on going, I located a place and sat in the choir stand.

In my church today, the men of substance were having thanksgiving service to roundup their men's week celebration they had during the week, and it happens to fall today which is Father's Day Celebration .

So the leader of service has made announcement that men owns the day and as such, every other activities in the church will be done sharpenly so that they can handover to the men department.

The worship and the praises session was done in few minutes and the three choirs in the church ministered their songs and they finally handover the microphone to the men'a leader.

All the men march in to the church with a song and lined up at the podium for their thanksgiving song presentation.

After the song presentation, their leader came out and made some donation to the church and there after he called on all the departments or individuals to also share in the blessings of the day by coming out to donate something to the church.

People came out to make donations, both the women's ministry and the youth ministry came out for donation and individual also did too.

Then after all that, our pastor mounted the pulpit and asked all the men to kneel down so that he can pray for all of them.

After the prayer, they all went back to their seat while our pastor then preached on the topic "The Resilient Man". While the text was taking from different portions of the Bible, 1st Samuel 30:8, 2Corinthians 4:7-9 and 2 Timothy 4:1-7.

He explained to us what it means to be resilient and that we needs to develop a resilient faith to survive in this our present world.

After the preaching the pastor prayed a general prayer to all of us and we shared the benediction.

The praise team department were asked to wait after church for a brief meeting with the pastor.

After the brief meeting we all went back to our different homes, few of us were lucky to have entered a free ride back home from one of the junior pastor in the church.

Getting home I was so hungry, and my soup was frozen in the fridge so I removed it and kept aside to defroze.

While I used that period to select chaff from the crayfish that was send to me by my mother from the village, I also sun dried it, so that anytime I want to make use of it, I won't stressed myself in doing that again.

After the whole process, I dish soup and warm, and prepared garri (eba) and ate my food slowly.

After eating I rested for a, then I came out and sat on my varender to think about me life. As I was thinking about my life, that was when I noticed that my neighbors child trying to bath outside and I asked her while she didn't used the bathroom, but she said that's how she feels like doing.

She was just funny, because she even asked me to snap her and keep the picture for her when her mother comes back I should send it to her phone to keep for her, children can be so naughty atimes.

I had to entered the house and rest again but I was hungry and I had little rice in the pot, so I warmed it and ate before I retired to bed finally.
