"My Eid Al Adha 2025" .

I am @m-princess from Pakistan. Alhamdulillah, I am fine and I hope you my all Steemian family will be fine too. In this beautiful community our dear brother @abdullahw2 hosted a very beautiful contest about our Eid ul adha. It is also known as Bakra Eid. It is the Eid of Sacrifice. It is a meaningful celebration in the Islamic calendar, in the remembrance of Hazrat Ibrahim's (peace be upon him) unconditional devotion to Allah, demonstrated by his willingness to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him). I'm excited to participate in a contest which is about this special occasion." As this contest is about Eid-ul-Adha, my post would seem incomplete if I didn't talk about it. So let's talk about Eid-ul-Adha.

So now let's move on to our questions.

I get up early in the morning at 4:30 am and l prepared for the Fajr prayer. Then after that my father and elder brothers again started preparations for the Eid Namaz. The Eid Namaz time is 6 : 00 am. So according this time they did their preparations and offered Eid Namaz. Then my sister, mother, and I prayed to Eid Namaz together at home. When my father and brothers returned home after praying, we all were ready to offer the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim. The time to sacrifice my beloved ram has come . When they were about to sacrifice, my father sent us sisters and the children in the house to the room so that we wouldn't be able to see the scene. When the meat came home, it was divided into three parts, then my mother prepared halala and everyone ate it together. We sisters don't eat this. After that, when all the household chores are finished,
wear new clothes for Eid.

Then we sisters got time to apply henna, so we applied henna on each other's hands.

Anyway, the whole day was spent doing housework and making sacrifices.

"Alhamdulillah, we sacrificed a ram. Our elders and my father raised animals themselves, so my father took great care of the animal and prepared it for sacrifice on Eid. When my beloved ram made a sound while being sacrificed, my hearts sank and tears came to my eyes, but it was inevitable that my family were doing this in memory of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him), so we completed the sacrifice."

To tell you the truth, we sisters don't eat much meat because we don't have the heart to eat it. But, considering the Sunnah, we definitely make different kinds of things from this meat and taste it, and we certainly make enough for our family and for the guests who come and go. I like making koftas and Syrian tikkis the most, and I make and eat them. But this time, I was so busy that I couldn't even cook my favorite dishes. I was just spending time with the guests who were coming and dealing with them by making normal korma and biryani etc.

Apart from meat, we also ate many dishes, the pictures of which I would definitely like to share with you all. We set the dasstarkhan for women and men separately.

In Islam, Sharing sacrificial meat with others, especially with those who are in need, holds special importance including many cultures and religions.
People distribute meat to each other on the special occasion of Eid.

• Sharing meat with others develops a sense of community and social connection.

• It creates empathy and kindness toward others.

• Helping others reduce the economic disparities by providing food to those who might not otherwise have access to it.

• Symbolizes the spirit of generosity and sharing.

Overall, sharing sacrificial meat, creates empathy in individuals, gratitude, and a deeper connection with their community.
