We often hear the word "domestic violence" sometimes we wonder why people fall victim of domestic violence.it has done more harm than good to our society. I would love to appreciate @Abdullah2 from steem for Pakistan for this wonderful contest it will help me share in detail my understanding on domestic violence.
Domestic Violence
This is a physical abuse that can take place at home at work anyway at any time.
physical violence.
verbal violence (including hate speech)
psychological violence.
sexual violence.
socio-economic violence
This can take place even at home a husband can exercise domestic violence against his wife at home even with his children a boss in a company can methods who is superior to him or she a victim of domestic violence.
four (4) TYPES OF DOMESTIC Violence
Emotional abuse
Financial abuse
Sexual abuse
Verbal abuse
Emotional abuse is a type of domestic violence that uses words and actions to berate, embarrass, or otherwise tear down the self-esteem of another person. This abuse specifically targets the emotional and psychological well-being of a person.
Financial Abuseis a type of domestic violence in which an abuser wields their influence over the economic resources in the relationship as a means to oppress their victim. This may appear as limiting or denying the victim access to funds.
Sexual abuse when a spouse forces his or her way or making out without partial agreement. Either by forcing or manipulation.
Verbal abuse using hurting words to ridicule manipulate, intimidate to maintain power over someone.
It is very crucial to create an awareness about domestic violence because in our today's sociality out of 100% divorce with 80% is caused by domestic violence and creating awareness about it will help reduce the rate of divorce.
The government has made a law to penalized those who practice domestic violence.
REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCE WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
There was a woman who was always sad she hardly associates with people.
She wasn't looking healthy as well so many people concluded she might be sick some said she is just a hard type that doesn't relate with people.
After some months the woman committed suicide living a note.
In the note she wrote that she has deal wait verbal abuse from her husband for so long and this had affect herself esteem her well-being in a very bad way that she became so depressed and the husband was always manipulating her into thinking that she is to real problem. She has been depressed for a long time to a point of taking her own life.
Conclusion are you a boss that are superior to other people are you a husband that I heard of the family are you a parent whatever you are you should know that the way you treat people matters. It can affect them in a negative way or in a positive way.
Creating awareness for domestic violence can also help limit the rate in which it is being practiced.

I really pity for that woman, she would have talked to someone and received help not ending with suicide, you see why it is important to educate people on this topic, because if she was educated on it that suicide would have been avoided.
Yea creating awareness has save many from this path.

You’ve written well about domestic violence, types, how to create awareness and your real life experiences. Many times we hear or encounter domestic issues like abuse or violence, both parties involved are the core contributors but it’s just that who ever is coming to the outside world with physical evidence will play a pity card. Here, I’m not in support of this act but I just want to say that; we should learn how to control anger and also be mindful of our words in order to avoid things like domestic violence.
Many people has lost their precious lives, sights and other body parts as a result of this.

Domestic violence has been very much rampant now and so people are suffering in this and even die from domestic violence.
You have really pointed out the different kind of domestic voilence then, pointed out the need to create awareness. It is true that majority of divorce cases is as the result of domestic voilence.
We wish people will just stop voilence and always remember the first love they had for each other.
