Why do I Prefer Steemit Only

✍️ What were your hopes while signing up for Steemit for the first time?

I joined Steemit last year 2017. I heard a lot about Steemit from some youtube videos. He had given clear details on how to sign up on YouTube and why we should keep the password safe. I express my sincere gratitude to him through this post. After I signed up Steemit was completely different and new to me. Because at that time I didn't have any knowledge about block chain and crypto currency.

Then gradually I got to know about them. But already I had posted my blogs on websites like blogspot, IBIBO.COM. That experience helped me write the posts here. The first thing I expected in Steemit was income. Steemit gave us that income in just seven days. It made me very happy. Because in those days the price of Steem was very high SBD price was about 13 dollars and Steem price was more than two dollars. So less hours of work yielded more profit.

And I saw a lot of members on Steemit being whales and making huge profits. So I wanted to be a whale. I started traveling towards it. And I now have hope that I will become a whale in the future.

✍️ Your challenges faced while achieving your financial or blogging goals?

So far I have withdrawn up to Rs 3 Lakh ($4000) through steemit so I have never had any financial problem with steemit. But in the year 2018 the price of steem suddenly fell and the price of steem dropped below one dollar so it was very difficult to earn on steemit and many people left steemit. However, I continued to write my posts from time to time. Many of my friends had left, so it was very difficult for me to get support. Because at that time there were no curators like now but our friends had to upvote us.

By the way, the price of Steem started to climb back in 2019. Again many people started working on steemit. Through that I started getting support. Also steemit has had a lot of legal program changes, for example the stability of steemit has changed due to curator teams, club system etc.

I haven't had any issues with steemit so far. But i have lot of problem to convert steems to Indian currency from steemit. Initially cryptocurrency was banned in India. At that time we were unable to withdraw the income to our account. Then in a way the Indian government agreed to withdraw the cryptocurrency after charging a tax of up to 30 percent. So now it is easy to convert steems into Indian currency even though we pay more taxes. I think Indians pay the highest taxes for crypto currency converters in the world.

✍️ Your inspiration on Steemit?

Lots of Indians have been whales on steemit. Especially @firepower and @goodkarma etc. My first inspiration on steemit is @cryptokannon, I like her the most though. She is my biggest inspiration. Because her involvement and her contribution to steemit is very noble. I have learned a lot about steemit through her new comers community. And her posts have given me more information about steemit.

Once my account was hacked by some one and @cryptokannon informed me that my account has been hacked and also told me how to recover from it. She also wrote a post about recoveing from hackingit and I thought it would be useful for everyone. So I share her link here:

My second biggest inspiration is @rme who has invested a huge amount in steemit and is helping a lot of people through it. Many other community admins and moderators are benefiting from his #steemalliance community. Like him, I think I should invest in steemit later.

My third Inspiration is @pennsif. He publishes news about steemit daily in his posts titled The Steem News. He selects the best posts on steemit and supports them. I also got a lot of support that way. Some of my posts are also selected as the best and published in his news feed. This effort and his contribution amazes me.

My fourth inspiration is the founder and developer of steemworld.org, @steemchiller. His contribution is huge and many people are benefiting from his steemworld.org tool. I am also using his tool daily. It is giving me good results. I can't be like him but I feel like I should contribute something to Steemit.

My fifth inspiration is @disconnect. He has been compiling contests held on steemit continuously for many years and publishing them in his post. Steemit users are benefiting from it. My contests also appear in his daily list so I get a lot of participants. Likewise, I am also participating in the contests on his daily list. His contribution is commendable.

✍️ Your happy story due to Steemit?

I am an example that we can make money without any investment insteemit. As long as my daughter was in college, her tuition was modest. But after adding her dream course, "Pilot Training Course", the cost was too high. Every time I paid fees for her, I withdraw a certain amount from STEEMIT and give it along with the fee. It has made me very proud and happy. My daughter and I owe a lot of thanks to steemit for that.

Similarly, when I sent my daughter to Canada, we were short of money to book the ticket, at that time I made a withdraw from steemit, so we were able to book the ticket. Not only that, two months ago when I needed money to pay the course fee again, I withdrew money from steemit and paid it. So, I benefited a lot from steemit.

Other than that I have given Steems from time to time for family expenses and for business needs of my husband. These are all my happy stories.
