"Uniqueness Of My Name" .

Welcome to my blog distinguished readers, Today is another day to explore the secret wonders of names. Names happens to be the most powerful identity an individual has. It could be likened to an arrow in the hand of a warrior ready to move into the air. With this, our names go beyond mere identification to being an ultimate source of recognition. In this episode, I will be presenting under the following headings;

My full name is Marvelous Sunday Udofia, an indigenous son of Ibiono though resides and stays in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Each part of my name holds significance meaning to me and my family. Conventionally, "Marvelous" expresses and symbolizes the awesome and wonderful scenario that surrounded by birth. My dad married my mother at a very tender age and the marriage was blessed with six children prior to my birth. The six comprised of five girls and a boy. Sadly, the boy and a girl died and my sisters lived hoping to have a brother again.

After waiting for years, my birth came and my family was blessed with a son. For them, my arrival wasn't just an ordinary event, but a miraculous one. Mummy gave me the name "Marvelous" not for flair, but in an attempt to show gratitude and joy. With this, my name gies "Marvelous' God " "Sunday" happens to be my father's name owing to the fact he was born on a Sunday and Udofia is my lineage meaning third Son. Today, this name represents a child birth into high expectations, hope and an awaiting fulfillment.

Just like most biblical names carries deep meaning, there is an heartfelt story behind my name. A story written not on sand but on rocks and tablets. The name was given to me by my parents, my mother to be precised because, she saw my birth as a magnificent turning point in her life. After having four surviving daughters, having a male child was beyond cultural. It was deeply personal as peers would always mock her of not having "awudt itie Udi" this is an Akwa Ibom name meaning "the decider of burial spots.

My name brought joy that human cannot explain. Indeed, I was the long awaited "Marvel," and they was no other name to identify me than "Marvelous" yes, God is Marvelous. On a nutshell, the story behind my name is that of perseverance, hope, and finally a sense of completeness for my parents and most especially my mother. My name portrays love, pride and gratitude to God.

Saying that I am satisfied with my name is an understatement. I am deeply satisfied with my name. It carries a legacy, a reminder and a mark that nothing can erase in my family. As such, changing my name is something I don't wish or pray for. This is because, changing my name would be equivalent to forgetting my beginnings. While I appreciate the beauty in other names, none truly equates the name Marvelous. It motivates me, inspires me, and makes me seek to extend blessings to others.

My Steemit username is independent of my actual name. Honestly, I tried using Marvelous as my Steemit username name only to realized that someone else had already taken it. Jokingly, I felt bad when the platform told me to go with the name "Marvelous02". Who then is the 01 I reasoned within myself.

At this point, I fell back to passion and the name @edu-chemist came up among others. The name reflects two important aspects of my interest. Education and Chemistry. Those who follow my blog will agree with me that blood scene scared me from Medicine and made me embrace education. Within the Field of education, I choose Chemistry.

So, "Edu" stands for Education and "Chemist" represents the subject I love so much with passion. This two names coupled together forms my Steemit username reminding me of the need to share valuable content taking into consideration that chemist does things systematically, decently, and orderly
