Hello, Steemians from all over the world, greetings to you all. I'm so exicted to join this contest today. I'm sharing an old picture of me. And a story titled" A letter to my old self."I thank our moderator @suboohi for putting up this contest.

Dear old self, I have so many things I want to thank you for.
A whole lot of things, if I want to state all of them, maybe it might take the whole day.
I want to please give you a heads up, this letter is gonna be an emotional one.
You might end up shedding tears, but don't worry, it's gonna be tears of Joy.
Come with me down to the memory lane.
Remember that time when you just finished secondary school? You had so many dreams and wishes.
You read about the importance of writing down one’s vision and making it plain.
You wrote about so many visions and goals you had in life including a time for them.
I want to emphasize one of the goals.
You wrote you wanted to be a great nurse. That was in 2017.
And in 5 years you will graduate as a Nurse and work in the best hospital in town.
Then you would be addressed as nurse comfort. You said this was gonna happen in 2023.
But, things did not play out the way you wanted. You were worried so many times. After writing jamb 3 times you still didn't get nursing.
You decided to move on with life. You opted for a polytechnic rather. And you succeeded in getting a diploma.
But then you still didn't give up on your dreams because there was still something missing.
Then you took a leap of faith. When your mates were about to graduate from school, you took a drastic decision to start afresh again.
And this time for Nursing sciences.
Many saw this as foolishness but you didn't care nor give a damn. God was on your side.
This time, you got it!
What you have always desired and what God ordained for you.
I just want to point out something to you.
Did you realize you said you would be graduating in 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑?
Here you are starting to study Nursing in 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
I'm pointing this out to you so you know that the saying “𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬” is true.
You didn't get it in 2023 but you were able to start in 2023.
Dreams do come true. Destiny can be delayed but can not be destroyed.
So you are a strong girl and still are.

Indeed Dreams are not illegal my dear friend Comfortpeter . You share a heartfelt letter to your old self, reflecting on past dreams and struggles. Despite setbacks,you persevered, embracing new opportunities and eventually realizing their goal of studying nursing. The letter serves as a reminder of the power of determination and faith in achieving dreams.

بالکل انسان اپنے ماضی کے خوابوں سے وابستہ رہ کر ہی زندگی کی انے والی مصیبتوں میں درپیش اور خوشیوں میں درپیش اور مگن مگن رہتا ہے یقین جانیں اپ کی پوسٹ سے نہ مجھے ایک مہک ائی ہے کہ اپ ابھی بھی اپنے پرانی یادوں والے خوابوں میں کہیں نہ کہیں گم سم ہے تو بالکل جو خواب ہوتے ہیں وہ انسان کی بصیرت سے لے کر اس کی زندگی سے جڑے ہوتے ہیں بے شک اور ایک بات اپ کے لیے کہ چیزیں انسان کی مرضی کے مطابق نہیں ہوتی وہ تو خدائے لم یا زل کی مرضی سے ہوتی ہیں انسان بے شک جو چاہتا ہے وہ ہوتا ہے مگر وہ ہوتا ہے ویسے ہی ہے جیسے خدا چاہتا ہے اور میں انشاءاللہ پر امید ہوں اپ نے زندگی میں جو بھی ہدف بنائے ہیں اپ ان تک لازمی پہنچیں گی اور ایک شعر اپ کی نظر کرتا چلوں کہ
جب تک نہ خالی لوٹ اؤں میں محاذ سے
ماں سر نہیں اٹھاتی ہے جائے نماز سے
