Steemit Engagement Challenge | S7W1 | Your Favorite Festival
Greetings from me,
First of all, many congratulations to the Steem For Pakistan community for getting selected for the #Steemit #Engagement #Challenge. Every year we all celebrate one or the other festival with great pomp. There are different religions in different countries and each religion has a different identity. Every religion has different festivals and the way of celebrating those festivals is also different. I respect every religion and try to know about the festivals of every religion.
- Because there is some belief behind every festival, or there is some good reason, that's why people consider the festival that way. Like Eid-ul-Fitr, Muharram and Ramadan are the festivals of the same religion i.e. Islam, the meaning of all these festivals is different and the ways of celebrating these festivals are also different. Some are festivals of happiness and some are of sorrow.
- Eid-ul-Fitr, also known as Ramadan Eid, is a festival of the religion of Islam. It is a happy festival and people all over the world celebrate this festival with great joy. On this day people hug each other forgetting all the wet complaints and believing in happiness. That's why this day is called the day of happiness. Serving the poor on this day is considered a very virtuous act. That's why this is my favourite festival.

- It is a festival of happiness, that's why people decorate themselves as much as possible on this day. People shop in the market and buy new clothes, fragrances and jewellery for decoration. At the same time, women make kheer in sweets, so they also buy a lot of milk, sugar and cashew almonds. Our homes and neighbourhoods are decorated and decorations are done in such a way that the message of happiness and peace reaches everywhere.

The beginning of this day begins with the prayer of Fajr, which starts with the first rays of the sun. People wake up early in the morning, take bath and do their grooming in a very wonderful way by applying fragrances, such as wearing new clothes, using perfumes, applying blush and wearing a new hat. After the Fajr prayer, people chant the name of Allah and pray for peace and humanity and also pray for their hereafter.
Then there is another Namaz which is called Khudbe Namaz and there is a special Namaz of Ramzan. After prayer, the Imam of the mosque prays for peace and humanity in the world. Then people hug each other and apologize to each other for the mistakes made knowingly or unknowingly. Fatiha is held in everyone's homes and their ancestors who have passed away from this world are remembered and people go to their graves to offer flowers. In the evening, people go for a walk with their family and celebrate with their family.
- As I told earlier, I offer Namaz in the same way and I apologize to all the people for those things which have happened to me knowingly or unknowingly and may have hurt their hearts. I go to the cemetery and present flowers on the graves of my elders and distribute money and food among the poor. I also spend some time on this day with the children and have fun with them. I go out for a walk with my parents in the evening and spend the evening with them on this day. I spend some time during the day with my friends and those who live far away, congratulating them on social media or calls.. So this is how I celebrate this festival.
- There are many religions in this world and each religion has a different identity. There are different festivals in those religions and the way of celebrating all the festivals is also different from each other. We should respect every religion, every community, and every human being and their festivals and congratulate them on their festivals because this is the name of humanity. It is also important to know about every festival because behind every festival there are stories of recognition and bravery. Festivals also repeat history in our lives, that's why we should celebrate festivals.

Muy interesante esta festividad: Eid-ul-Fitr. No sé en qué fecha del año se celebra, pero se parece mucho a nuestras fiestas del año nuevo, las del primero de enero. Se comparten los buenos deseos, se pide perdón y se realizan planes para el futuro, incluso coincide en los adorno en las casas y en a calle, además de las compras de alimentos especiales y la ropa nueva.
