Hello @everyone accept special warm greetings from my home country Cameroon to all in the blockchain.It’s another opportunity for me to share my thoughts with this ongoing Steemit engagement challenge in this community Hindwhale .Topic centered on “Why is gender equality necessary?”.

Gender equality for the past years has always been a very important topic discussed in our society today .To create awareness of the equal right of individual alienable and to minimize a particular sex. This is aimed at fighting against gender bias by promoting equality amongst all races or classes.In the below section I will be sharing my thoughts based on the guided questions.

What does gender equality entails and what are the advantages

Gender equality refers to when all sexes women , men , boys and girls are given equal human right without no any discrimination. That is irrespective of the age and the sex people are given the right to have full access to resources with freedom.It can equally be the right enjoy business, education,access to resources ,power and financial freedom.

These are the various advantages of gender equality. It’s makes everyone to belong in the society irrespective of the sex and classes .Also, gender equality promotes peace and fight against violence amongst families, women and children. In addition, gender equality advocates for the human rights of every individual in the community for peace , good health and love to reign.Lastly a good economy will always grow because of gender balance.

Is gender equality crucial for all people, not just for women?

Yes gender equality should not be only focused on women . There some women they are more empowered and know that they are stable they become abusive toward their husbands. I have not denied the fact that women should not be empowered or given right .But I also think that everyone regardless of sex and race should be given special attention to belong .

I think gender equality should also concentrates with persons with disabilities.This are people who are vulnerable and needs to given special care , empowered and right in society . Therefore everyone should be equally given the right when it comes gender equality .We should not only concentrate on the case of women alone while others are left out inthe society .

What are your thoughts in gender specifically, concerning the circumstances in your country?

I earlier mentioned gender equality is one of the most debated issue discussed and addressed in our society today .Inorder to wipe away stereotypes minds people have had concerning gender equality.Due to gender bias some particular sex and race . Have fight so hard to gain their human right .This has made women to argue that “That a man can do a woman can do it more better .While some people think that the woman place is only inthe kitchen.

But I think that irrespective of the class,age,sex and class.it’s important for everyone to respect individual right and not to minimize a particular sex or race not belong in the society .let avoid a case where a particular sex is neglected or denied the right to education or are seen as people who subjugated to stay at home as house wives .If we want to build a better community there should be equally rights inclusion given to every body irrespective of sex , age , class and race etc.

How to educate our children to understand this issue

I think parents has the sole responsibility to educate and to follow up their children to take so right thing life .Imagine in a family where they are two girls and one boy . The parents decided to exempt the boy child from particular house work like cooking but only expect the girl children to work .I think in this case you are doing harm than good to the boy child.Already not bringing gender equality or balance at home .

We should take that initiative to educate and grow up our children in such a way the can work or do any other work wether a boy or a girl child . I earlier mentioned the case of cooking should be both done by male or female.There is no particular work that you should focus giving it to a particular sex .We should always empower children by making them to have gender equality as parents .
