Assala-mu-alaaikum all of my dear steemian friends. I hope you all are well like me. Today I am here to participate in the fifth week of engagement contest in my beloved Hindwhale Community and today's contest topic is Gender Equality. I think this is a contest organized on the right topic with the current time and hence I am happy to present my contest post to you.

What does gender equality entail and what are its benefits?

Gender equality means treating all people the same regardless of gender. Gender equality ensures the fundamental rights of people, the wants and needs of people according to gender, and these basic needs of people are included in gender equality.

The main benefit of gender equality is that people can exercise their rights and personal freedoms. Also the benefits of the state can be well received by both men and women due to gender equality. In our society, women are far behind men in various fields. Its main point is not to give equal rights to men and women which requires gender equality. By doing this, the family, society, country and the outside world also benefit.

Is gender equality important for everyone?

Gender equality does not count women or men but it is necessary for all human beings regardless of whether they are women or men. At present, we are a developed nation and each of us has the right to express our opinion freely, for which both men and women should be given opportunities from the society to realize their rights.

Women or men are dependent on each other and no one can be left out in the development of society or state. So both women and men should be kept under gender equality. Because it will make our world more beautiful. Just as a woman does housework, a man also struggles to make a living. Here it would be wrong if we praise only women's contribution to the family. Because men are also struggling to sustain this family & they are both doing different things to build the same foundation. So gender equality applies to both men and women.

What are my thoughts on gender equality based on the situation in my country?

I have said before that I am for gender equality. Based on the current situation of our country, women and men have equal rights. In our country, both men and women are present in family, social or state work. In our country, the presence of both men and women in various sectors of education or employment is noticeable.

Even a decade ago, girls in our country were married off at a young age and when a girl became a teenager, girls were often considered a burden on the house. By this, women are deprived of the education system and remain uneducated, which brings harm to the society and the country. But the present times have changed as women are given equal rights as men as men are given equal rights in view of gender equality for the development of modern society so that women as men are seen to realize their basic rights.

How do we teach our children about gender equality?

To make our children understand the issue of gender equality, we can highlight the role of women in various welfare activities of the society. We can also explain this to our children by referring to the sectors where skilled women are needed. We need to make our children understand that women and men have equal roles behind the development of this society and state.

A woman doctor is essential to treat a woman's secret disease. In the same way a man's physical or secret disease can be told to a man's doctor. In this case, people are freed from the position of shame. So we can teach our children about gender equality by considering social progress and environmental issues so that they can gain proper knowledge about it.
