I am participating in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Contest- Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W6 - "What happens if motor vehicles are banned around the world?. Thank you Hindwhale Community for organizing this beautiful contest.
Motor vehicles are very important to travel a long distance within a short period. But if somehow motor vehicles are banned around the world then there would be both positive and negative impacts.
Motor vehicles pollute our environment significantly. Carbon emissions from motor vehicles lead to global issues like climate change and global warming. If motor vehicles are banned then environmental pollution will be reduced. Then we can live in a healthy environment. Besides the ban on motor vehicles will reduce the use of motor oil.
If Motor vehicles are banned then people will rely on alternative vehicles like bicycles, trains, pulled rickshaws, airplanes, or water vehicles.
I think traffic jams will be remarkably decreased if motor vehicles are banned. We all know how irritating it is to stay on the road for hour after hour in a traffic jam. After the reduction of noise pollution, this is another great advantage that we can get if motor vehicles are banned.
People will use bicycles or other vehicles. Using a bicycle will be a good exercise. In the absence of motor vehicles, some people will walk to reach their destination. This will cost more time but people will not depend on such modern vehicles which are harmful to our health.
A lot of people will be jobless If Motor vehicles are banned. It can be a cause of financial crisis in the world.
A motor vehicle ban is likely to have the above advantages and disadvantages.
It is possible to seek the help of animals if motor vehicles are banned. Especially village people can seek the help of animals for transport.
Even nowadays people who live in the village make their livelihood by riding horse carts. So ideally humans can seek the help of animals for transport.
But transport in the city would be different from the village. In urban areas, people will not use animals for transport. They can mostly use alternative vehicles like bicycles or some other vehicles that could be invented instead of motor vehicles.
It's obvious that if motor vehicles got banned from the road our environment would be free from pollution.
Our environment is greatly affected by motor vehicles. Air pollution, noise pollution, global warming, climate change, health problems, loss of plant and animal diversity, and much more damage are done to motor vehicles.
Without motor vehicles, we can live in a much more healthy environment. Plants and animals will not be harmed much. Another favorable point is that We don't have to suffer from traffic jams.
Stopping motor vehicles can cause financial loss. People who earn money by riding motor vehicles lose their jobs. Motor vehicle companies may go bankrupt.
Using motor vehicles, we could travel from one place to another quickly. Without such vehicles, it will be difficult for us to travel fast and we will have to suffer until some alternative vehicles are developed.
Nowadays, science and technology are expanding rapidly. And so advanced technology is being added to the field of transportation. For this reason, it is only a matter of time before the discovery of other forms of transportation other than the motor.
Electric vehicles are gaining immense popularity in the current era. In addition to electric vehicles, many experiments are underway to drive vehicles with water.
If some form of transportation other than the motor is invented and that invented transportation is oil efficient or an alternative to oil, then the consumption of oil will decrease. As a result, carbon emissions will decrease.
If any vehicle other than a motor vehicle is invented then it can be good for our environment. Because motor vehicles cause serious damage to the environment.
A vehicle may be invented in the future that will have the ability to travel on roads and in the air. No need to be stuck in traffic jams like motor vehicles.
Conclusion
The ban on motor vehicles can bring a revolutionary change in the transportation system. It could lead us to a door of possibility and we could shift towards potential future inventions that are more sustainable, eco-friendly, and efficient vehicles.
As a result, environmental pollution will be reduced and we get a healthy environment.
If motor vehicles are banned people will adopt more advanced vehicles using new technology. Global issues like climate change or global warming can be prevented to some extent if the use of fossil fuels is reduced.
If motorized vehicles are banned, it will move us towards a possible world where we can have more eco-friendly vehicles for communication and there will be less pollution.

Motor exhaust is a threat to our environment and day by day the black smoke emitted by motor vehicles is polluting our environment.
I live in a village, and since my childhood I have seen that in our region, crops are transported from the fields using horse carts. Which is environmentally friendly, because horse carts do not emit any extra carbon dioxide.
Motorcycles save our time in many cases but most of the time we waste our time on extra motorbikes getting stuck in traffic jams. Even everyday countless people are losing their lives in accidents due to vehicular traffic.
So, I think banning motorbikes will hurt us a little but in practical terms we will get a pollution free environment and a beautiful life.

People used various kinds of vehicle in ancient time.If the people can take help from other vehicle,it will not be better than the other vehicle think that if there is no vehicles we will suffer a lot. we can not move easily from one place to another.If we use other vehicle instead of motorcar ,our environment will be from all kind of pollution. Motor vehicles will not be banned. But sooner or later motor vehicles might be developed and environmental pollution can be reduced by implementing some ideas.
If motor vehicles were banned, it would definitely have a compact on how we travel. Without cars, we would have to rely on alternative modes of transportation like bicycles, trains, and other vehicles. It could potentially lead to less traffic congestion and noise pollution, which would be a positive change. I like to travel by train. I think railway transportation will used by most of the people If motor vehicles were banned. Thank you.
