Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I will be participating in Hindwhale Community Steemit Engagement Challenge S11/W4. Where our challenge is presented as How is democracy functioning in your country? I think democracy is the power of development of a country. Today I will present to you some important information about the democracy of my country Bangladesh through this competition.

How is democracy working in your country?

Democracy is a system of governance in which the power of government is legally vested in a particular class of people. We see democratic governance in the world now Bangladesh also has a democratic governance system in place. The people of Bangladesh establish the democratic constitution of the country by electing representatives. But here political parties play an active role. Because a country's democracy works by the presence of the people and political parties of the country which is enforced through a fair election.

Democracy in Bangladesh works in exactly the same way which ensures the success of democracy in the country through a fair and impartial election. In Bangladesh, any political party comes to power through elections by the people of the country through the election commission after 5 years for the formation of a fair state. And this is how the democracy of Bangladesh is continuing its normal operation.

Is your country free from any domination?

I think that in order to build a developed country, the heads of government of a country have to maintain diplomatic relations with various countries. These diplomatic relations are mediated by diplomatic missions of different countries. In many cases, powerful developed countries have some degree of dominance over developing countries. In that case, I think Bangladesh is not completely free from all these hegemony.

There have been and still are criticisms of the upcoming elections in Bangladesh and the spread of dominance. I think that this is having a very bad effect on the democracy of Bangladesh. I would say that in the name of establishing such a developed democracy, the hegemony of other countries should be stopped. Because our country has the right leader to establish democracy of a sovereign country.

Is your country self sufficient in producing food?

I think Bangladesh is partly self sufficient in food production. Because Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Being an agricultural country, our country produces a large amount of food grains. But many times due to the political situation and bureaucratic complications of the country, different food items are imported into the country. A large amount of foreign currency has gone out of the country.

If the production of agricultural products in Bangladesh could have been increased many years ago then Bangladesh would have been hundred persent self sufficient in food today. However many times I have seen that if the government could properly preserve the agricultural products then the production of agricultural products in Bangladesh would have been increased and the agricultural products would not have been destroyed every year. Besides we could increase the export of our agricultural products and earn a large amount of foreign exchange in Bangladesh.

What is youth employment like in your country?

According to the current survey in Bangladesh, youth employment has increased a lot compared to the previous time. Which is more than previous 5 years in our country. Because at present the unemployment rate in Bangladesh is 3.6%. Which I feel is a success for Bangladesh. Because in today's era no one is running after job. Because a job is less than manpower. Therefore, the unemployed youth in our country as alternative employment opportunities are being created due to the plans of any business entrepreneur.

Apart from this, various private sectors of Bangladesh are contributing the most as a source of youth employment. Because government jobs are a bit difficult to get in Bangladesh but private jobs are a bit easier to get. Government of Bangladesh is taking various steps to eliminate the unemployment in the country which is a big challenge for the country. Because we know that for the economic and social growth of a country, the development of the country has to be done by utilizing the labor and talent of the youth of the country.

Do you want your country to be like that?

I love my country very much. My beloved land Bangladesh seems to me like heaven. The people of this country are very peace loving. I think that unique natural beauty like Bangladesh will attract any person. From this point of view, I would say I definitely want to be like Bangladesh. Another aspect of the people of Bangladesh that I often see is the love of the country.

People of Bangladesh have different respect for the country and the country's language. Which I also feel. Even if there is good and bad among the people of all countries, if the topic of patriotism comes, then we all express unity. Just as my country Bangladesh has set a bright eye on the glory of natural beauty, the people of this country have also gained fame in the world because of their sincerity. So I want to be like this country by expressing my love for my country Bangladesh.
