This is the contest Most Popular Game of My Country organized in Hindwhale Community.
It is the contest of Steemit Engagement Challenge S11-W6. I am very happy to be the part of this Contest. Here I am going to tell you about my country's most favorite and most common game which is Cricket. I will some figures and facts about cricket and will try to answer all these questions in details. So let's start our article.

Cricket is the most popular game in my country Pakistan. It's the taste of everyone, no matter young, old, male or female. It's a favorite in all games too. I love watching it on TV. Pakistani people are kind of emotionally attach with this sports. Playgrounds are let alone, even some people play it at home. If, you go through a street in the evening you will must see a group of boys playing cricket there. It's the situation of every street in Pakistan.
They are that much highly involved in it that If, their national team lose the match then this is the worse day for them. If they win, then this is a kind of pleasure day for the whole of the nation. The best part is when we win the match against India, our hard opponent. It's celebrated as a national win.

This game has too many international events, such as: ODI world cup, T20 world cup, Champion Trophy and new tournament with the name of Test champion league is introduced. Plus these days every nation has it's own cricket league in which all the international players participate. We have our own league called Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The most famous of these leagues are I think Indian Primer league (IPL), Then Big Bash of Australia and then PSL in the major league event. So cricket is not just a simple game it has a global fame.
Talking about Olympic, cricket is not the part of it. I don't know the solid reason behind it. Cricket is ofcourse the world 2nd highly rated game after football. I don't know what could be the reason that it's not the part of Olympics.
In cricket Pakistan and India rivalry is best known. It is the most watch match ever in the history of any game. According to some reports, it has the same viewership as a football world cup final. It is watched in pproximately 190 plus countrie.

Yes ofcourse we have too many outclass players with us. The most rated of them is Babar Azam. He is my most favorite one. Payer is the best batsman ever in the cricket history of Pakistan. He is number one batter at ODI, second at T20 and fourth ranking at Test. He is the only player in top 5 in all formats of cricket.
We have some other best players too, like Shaheen Shah Afridi: the best fast bowler in cricketing world, Haris Rauf: a speed gun machine who is very fast. Shaheen and Haris have very nice combination in bowling, both are very aggressive. World class batsman can't face them easily. Shahdab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Muhammad Rizwan all are in this list.

No it's not. My favorite game and our national game is two different one. Cricket is the one which is my most favorite one, while on the other hand it's hockey which is our national game. Pakistan has a tramandus history of hockey. We have won 4 hockey final, which is the most by any country in the world. We won 1971, 1978, 1982, and 1994.
On the other hand Pakistan has a good history in cricket too. We have won the ODI world cup back in 1992, then T20 world cup in 2009 and then a Champion Trophy in 2017, which will be the most memorable, because we beat India in the final.
