First and foremost, gender equality entails human rights. Right to freedom of speech, right to socialization, right to school, and other rights. Gender equality is an equal right given to men and women, boys and girls; it means no one is unequal.

Gender equality entails being paid the same salary, given the same portion and style of meals, and given the same opportunities. You know, inequality is commonly found among the women, and so when rights are shared accordingly to the men and the women, to the boys and the girls, then we can say that it is gender equality.

It entails giving all genders the free right to whatever career they wish and choose their lifestyle and abilities they want without being discriminated against.

• Gender equality gives a platform for voices to be heard; most of us might not know about this, but it's true because when you have the right to speak just like others, then your voice can be heard.
There are women who can't voice out even when they are in terrible situations due to inequality, but with equality, a platform is raised for their voices to be heard.

• Gender equality is a human right and should not be denied to any gender. It's a right due to everyone, and all should enjoy it. As men know their rights, the women also know their rights, and no one is discriminated against.

• Gender equality brings about progress in society. It gives all genders a sense of belonging, and everyone knows where they fall. As the women are striving to survive, the men are also striving hard to make it, and it means the society is progressing and peaceful.

When we talk about gender equality, it is applicable to all genders; no one is excluded. The women are mostly seen experiencing inequality in society because they are seen as the weaker vessel, but I put it to you that women are the bedrock and everything a society needs to flourish.

Everyone, no matter who you are, deserves the same right. There shouldn't be any form of gender discrimination; the girls should be sent to school the same time the boys are sent to school.

For example, in my country, the practice of inequality is the order of the day, especially for the non-Christian families. There are a lot of men in my country who don't value women for anything. They use their money to marry a woman and still come back home to beat them up, useless their career, and then send them parking at the end all because they are women.

I just feel that if the sense of gender equality were implemented, so many women in my country would rise; they would speak out and shine better because a lot are discriminated against and can't help themselves.

To help the children who are the future of tomorrow know more about gender equality, they should be taught, shown, and identified.

I think this should be a topic in schools where the children receive special classes on gender equality. Parents also should help out in the practical aspects at home so the children can identify inequality when they see one.
