Assalam-o-Alaikum friends!

Welcome to my post. I'm @moazzamushtaq and I hope that you all will be fine and will be enjoying your life by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my life. Friends, I'm here today for participating in the SEC- S16/WK4 organized by Hindwhale Community. The topic is very interesting which is titled: "Children Vs Extracurricular Activities". How can extracurricular activities help children's physical and mental growth?

Co-curricular activities also known as out of class activities or any events that we participate in outside of your regular academic coursework. These can be anything from sports and clubs to volunteering, going to parks and part-time work.

These extracurricular activities are very essentials for children's mental growth and development. Those students who take part in these extracurricular activities regularly are mentally and physically healthy. Those students whose passionate about sports, music or simply want to try something new there is an extra-curricular activity out of education course for them and they enjoy their course as well.

Do today's children choose extracurricular activities, or are they forced to participate by their parents?

Today involvement of children in different activities is varied greatly depending on their circumstances. Children who took part in extracurricular activities are active in their daily life. But others who's do not do this, are forced or encouraged by their parents to do some extracurricular activities. Parents do this because they have their lives experiences, they want that their child also remain active in his daily routine including his education.

Majority children are intend to do extracurricular activities, those who are not interested in such activities may be psychology unfit and such children are forced by their parents to take part in these activities. So that they feel mentally relax.

Are extracurricular activities necessary for children?

Extracurricular activities are very essentials for children's mental and physical health. Involvement of students in extracurricular activities helps children to learn social skills. Students study regularly and some enjoyful activities on weekend, is a source to get rid from boring pf thier lives. A children who is passionate of playing different sports with friends, he gets experiences of good ethics, morals and respect others. He will not beyond only in his study, his social gathering will be vast by involving in extracurricular activities.

What are the best extracurricular activities for children today?

Nowadays, there are numbers of extracurricular activities like sports, drawing, art work, seminars, discussion on knowledge based topics. Actively involvement of a child in these activities improves his confidence and he will be more confident in his study or in his social life. Art work or drawing helps children to improve their creativity. Sports makes children healthy both mentally and physically. Participation in seminars or discussion on beautiful topics with friends beside study helps students to discover something new and they able to say their opinions infront of people confidently.

Extracurricular children's activities can continue to develop children's emotional development. Present day schools have many sports equipments so that students are interested in sports. A child should be allowed to do activities of his choice as this will benefit his mental development. For other physical fitness, football, swimming, cycling, dance, cultural activities, theater or other sports strengthen children physically and mentally.
