Wishing everyone good health, I hope you are all well. Today I am here to participate in the power up competition among you. Thanks to this community admin @jyoti-thelight for organizing this wonderful contest. I do strength training regularly and I always try to increase my strength. I know that the only way to power up on steemit is to power up regularly.

Steem Power is a power meter within Steemit that increases your voting and curation power. This is the process of converting your earned Steem Tokens into Steem Power (SP) on the Steemit platform. So I have shown the screenshot below the steps to power up. In this you can learn the process of power up.

Step :- 1

• I first logged into my STEEMIT profile before powering up. From there I clicked on the right side and clicked on the wallet option.

Step :- 2

• Every user has to sign in after entering the wallet. So I also clicked on the sign in option.

Step :- 3

• Now you need your username and your Steem key to sign in. So I wrote the username in my username place and clicked the login option with my Steem key.

Step :- 4

• Now my wallet is logged in. You can notice that my wallet has liquid STEEM 141.093 STEEM and my total SP amount is 9221.812 STEEM.

Step :- 5

• Now after clicking on Steem option, the power up option will appear. So I clicked on the power up option below.

Step :- 6

• Convert to STEEM power is written above. Here you need to convert liquid STEEM to SP. For this you need to determine the amount of STEEM. I have set 141.093 STEEM here. After that I clicked on the power up option and completed the power up.

Step :- 7

• Finally now you can see my liquid STEEM zero and SP below the amount has risen to 9362.905 STEEM. So that's how I've done power up.

The importance of powering up :-

Power ups are very important in Steemit in my opinion. Because the more power we increase, the more our steem power will increase. Power ups increase your voting power on Steemit. As a result your vote will be worth more when you vote on posts or comments. By powering up you become a stakeholder in the steem block and increase your influence on the platform. This makes you more credible to other users.

Powering up steem is safe in your steem ecosystem, as it takes 13 weeks to power down. So it can protect your funds from hacking. Powering up will enable you to do more for the community. Like earning curation rewards and supporting other users more. That's why I power up regularly and I think the importance of power ups is immense. I hope I have been able to explain a lot to you from my post.
