Suddenly, Daniel stood up and started playing the ball. He surprised me when he did most of the simple things I do with the ball, things like kicking the ball to walk a few times as well as holding the ball.

Why do they mimic the adults?

Children mimic adults because it serves as a way for them to learn and create a sense of belonging. Mirror neurons activate more strongly when a child is with someone that has similar characteristics to them, so they tend to imitate adults in order to learn and feel part of a social group. Additionally, children may imitate adults in order to receive attention, but not wanting to admit or show it directly.

So that children don't become useless people later on, the adults around them should always make sure that they do positive things only in their presence. They should avoid doing things like;
