Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W5 - "If you had the opportunity to settle overseas, which three countries would you choose?"

Good day steemians!

IMG_7120.jpeg

I am just a girl with a simple dream. I am not used to leave in a fancy world. I can survive with a normal world as long as my needs and family's need were supplied enough.

IMG_2477.jpeg

If given the chance to settle to other country, I'd rather still settle in my own country. Many said that if you can work abroad, all your needs and wants will be supplied. But I am emotionally weak, yes we were financially stable yet our loved ones especially our parents is far from us. I already had family, my parents are getting old already and I dont want to leave them. But my hubby keeps on encouraging me to go and stay where he is applying for work. As of now, I still didnt take it seriously but I am not sure if I can leave my family. They are my home and I wanted to stay at home because I can find comfort whenever I can see and touch them. It is so hard to stay away and they will get sick and needed our affection.

Maybe I just wanted to travel to Japan with my little family.

Why Japan?

I've heard a lot of things about Japan. Aside from the people there are well respectful and accomodating, they also had a lot of nice view.

IMG_2850.jpeg

My hubby worked their for five years. Three years when we were still on dating stage and 2 years when we were already happily married. In his pictures shared to me, I really love it especially when its snow time. They were all enjoying the snow and I love to try it as well.

My sister and brother are currently working there also. My cousin married a Japanese citizen there and already migrated and got one kid. I also had friends, relatives and classmates who were working there also.

Japan really a big help to every Filipino. And yes, it really helps us a lot. My mama was abls to build his dream three story house and was able to own an SUV with the help of my sister who is working there. My husband was able to have a memorable wedding because of his earnings in Japan. And we were abls to start building our aboard and able to own a 4 wheel. Thanks be to God for the chance and bringing Japan to our lives. We really treasure the experience when my hubby was working there.

Right now, my hubby planned to work to other country. And hoping that by the grace of God, his visa will be approve and release this year.

So, as of the moment my mind still wanted to stay here in Philippines. Maybe other country is for travel and work only but not to stay. But, I am still not sure where will destiny bring me.

That is all for now. Thank you for reading everyone!

Thanks to @Hindwhale Community for organizing such amazing contest. More contest about travelling soon.

Inviting my friends @georgie84, @liamnov and @marzyoung to share their entry.

Sincerely,

Thank you Roomi. There is no place than home.

indeed, patriotism should prevail and excel all our priorities and aspirations.

It's truly heartwarming to read your perspective on staying close to family despite tempting opportunities abroad. Japan seems to hold a special place in your heart and let me tell you Japan is one of my favourite too.. It's fantastic to hear that Japan's been treating your family well. Thank you abdul. Yes I dont want to live my country because my life is in there.

Hi friend, I can see the reason why you prefer staying in your country Philippines, almost all your family are still there, so going to another country is something else entirely. Sha that your idea and it's can't be changed. If you ask me I will say if I have that opportunity I won't waste Time to travel out. Wish you success
