Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India.

My daughter got a seat at Sri Ramakrishna College of Engineering, one of our state's top colleges. She got a mechanical engineering seat in it. We accepted it and made the admission. Through it, an Orientation program was held two days ago. For that, we went to attend that function. The orientation program was to start at 10 am. We left at half past nine. When we went, the auditorium was empty, only a few people were sitting in the front row, and along with them, we sat in the third row.

The auditorium, which was initially empty, was filled within half an hour, with around 1000 people attending the program. It included first-year college students and their parents. The chief guest on stage. College Directors. Prince Paul. Trustees were also present. At exactly ten o'clock, the program started with the lighting of the punch lamp. The college's principal first welcomed everyone in the program and spoke about the long history of the college. He also talked about what they have achieved.

After that, the Chief Guest was invited to speak. A cheap guest runs a company in the US, he is of Indian origin and takes students from here to work in the US. He gave a motivational speech to the students. This was followed by the Director, who also gave a motivational speech on the achievements of the college.

Faculty and teachers were then introduced. Following this, awards were given to the students who achieved the feat. After that, the National Anthem was sung and the ceremony concluded. After the ceremony, everyone was served lunch there. After lunch, we toured the college campus. We visited their mechanical department where the achievements of their senior students were on display.

In particular, a battery-powered vehicle and a Formula One car were on display made by students of their department. We visited all of them and took pictures. After that, we visited my daughter's favorite sports grounds. There were football courts, tennis courts, badminton courts, basketball courts, etc. My daughter was happy when she heard that they are giving importance to sports.

Such displays and notice boards were placed in the entrance premises of the Mechanical Engineering Department. The notice board displayed photographs of mechanical engineering students' achievements. I think my daughter's photo will also be featured later, who knows let us wish.

In the evening we went to Big Bazaar Street near Town Hall in Coimbatore as my daughter needed some clothes for her college and even though she had already bought about seven sets of clothes, she asked for more today so we went there and looked around the shops there and we went to a big clothes store called Pothys.

The Pothys Textile Mall was huge and grand with about five floors. On the ground floor, there were silks and related garments. When we inquired there, they said they have regular wear dresses for women on the third floor. We took the escalator to the next floor and finally reached the third floor. There, different types of women's clothes were displayed section-wise.

On that floor, readymade kurtas, churidars, regular wear dresses on one side, dress material on one side, western wear in one side, and jeans and pants on one side were kept section-wise. We visited all of them and went to the dress material section and visited churidar dress material. While we were selecting, my husband was taking pictures of the mannequins and clothes with his cell phone.

The manquinns were beautifully decorated and dressed in beautiful clothes. As soon as I saw them I wanted to buy them. Their prices were very high. One yellow dress in particular was very beautiful. It was a party dress and had very beautiful embroidery on it. When I saw its price, it was around 9 thousand rupees. But since these dresses are practically impossible to wear to college, we opted out of buying them and looked at other dresses.

Finally after selecting the three dress materials that my daughter likes, we went to the government section and selected the underwear she needed, went to the billing section made the payment, and came out.

Thus the day turned out to be wonderful and my daughter's first day of college experience was an unforgettable experience for her and me
