“Which is very important for children's brain development: Studying or Playing?"

I am super excited to participate in this beautiful contest in which I have discussed the topic "Which is very important for children's brain development: Studying or Playing? ".

What is more important for children in their childhood, playing or studying?

Gone are those days when children combined both playing and studying and still ended up doing better in life. I could remember during my childhood days in primary school when my teacher would allow everyone in the class to go out and play because it is believed that "all work without play makes Jack a dull boy".

Both studying and playing are important for children in their childhood so if am to speak on I will speak on studying as the most important for children in their childhood. Education is the key to success, which every child needs to acquire in their childhood stage through studying.

Studying helps children to be smart, and brilliant as they grow up in life. With studying children will get to know the best time to play, the type of playing that is good for them, and how they can avoid playing at the wrong time, nor be involved in bad play.

Are today's children lagging in studies and sports? If yes, explain the reason.

Yes, today children are lagging in studies and sports. The reason why today's children are lagging in studies and sports is because of the advancement of technology in the world. The invention of smartphones and other devices has reduced the rate at which children study and engage themselves in sports activities.

Nowadays children prefer playing games using Smartphones, tablets, and computers to studying their books or participating in sports activities.

Unlike those days were children gathered themselves and read together or participated in sports activities. Today's children aren't interested in studying or sports activities but they're interested in watching comedies, and movies and playing games.

Is online education useful to your children?

Yes, online education is useful for children but not as useful as physical education. Online education exposes children to other things which makes children to be familiar with technologies and modern devices.

Online education is useful for children as it helps children to become a better researchers using technological devices. It helps children to develop an interest in becoming scientists.

How does online education affect your children's mental and physical health?

Online education affects children's mental and physical health in different ways which some of the ways are:

Effect of online education on children's mental health.
  • It causes stress and anxiety
As children focus their eyes on screen watching and listening to online classes it causes the student to pay attention to learn which means they feel tired fast.

  • Lack of interest
Children can easily switch off their cameras to a topic they don't like or are interested in learning.

Effect of online education on children's physical health.
  • Eyesight problems

  • Lack of classroom ethics

  • Lack of physical exercises

  • Lack of Vitamin D

  • Calcium deficiency

  • Lack of socialization.

Absolutely! It's all about finding that balance between studying and playing in today's world. Technology has definitely changed the way kids approach education and leisure activities. While it's great to embrace the benefits of technology, it's important to encourage kids to also prioritize studying and physical activities. By finding a healthy balance, we can help them grow into well-rounded individuals.

¡Saludos amigo!🤗

I think their should be a strike balance in playing and studying. Just like you mentioned that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Children are fragile being and does not need rigidity when it comes to studying, they always wants to be soft treated and pampered. You catch them young with play while studying, although studying is the centre of attraction and shouldn't be neglected. Online learning is good but it's side effects should be clearly looked into to help save their health early.
I wish you all the best in this challenge!
