Hello Diary,

My day went really well today. I couldn't ask for a more better weekend. I came back home with this great feeling of a fulfilled and happy day.

The best that one could ask is getting to have time to enjoy moments with family and/or friends.
Well let's go back to the early hours of the morning where it all started.

The rooster made its usual morning call but I was so deep in sleep that I could not regain full consciousness. I slept pretty late by 4am and so it was tiring. I stayed more on the bed before hoping off to clean my mouth and clean up the house. Cleaning the house is always taxing on Saturdays, because I have to do a more thorough clean up. When I was done, I helped mom to cut periwinkles, she sells them, so I had to help her cut some...another taxing job but I've got to do it.

I was conscious of my time because I had already plan out the day. That morning I bought beans with Potatoes which cost me 300 Nigerian naira, which is an equivalent of 2 steems.

After eating, I went to get a haircut. The haircut was going smoothly not until the generator went off and the barber didn't finish cutting off my hair. I looked at my phone and I saw that I was behind time to go out for a memorial service I had planned out for the day.

The bus for the Memorial service was to depart by 11:30am and I had to meet up, well the generator was repaired and the haircut was completed perfectly. I took a bathe on arriving the house and moved to where the bus was, I was already receiving calls from my colleagues who were asking my whereabouts. We arrived and we took some pictures too. The memorial service was for the Mother of one of our colleague, so we needed to pay our respects.

We arrived the venue for the event and it was in a known hotel here in Uyo my city. The memorial service started with some music and then the program started.
People socialised, danced and sang praises. I joined in everything and also danced. It is always a great feeling when one gets to have great moments with family and friends. I enjoyed the memorial service and wish it could be every weekend. Everything on the program was exhausted, well there is no event in Nigeria without party and food. We went to get food too. I ate fried rice and Jollof Rice with salad and chicken. The food was delicious and palatable. We all enjoyed ourselves. We made jokes of each other and laughed it out. These are moments Humans enjoyed most.

Since I couldn't find a place to watch football, I had little data left, so I had to watch the football match between Manchester United and Brentford on my phone. I am a Manchester United fan, so the match was frustrating in 90 Minutes but all the tension was turned around when Mctominay (a united player) scored to equalise and also score again to win, all in the space of 8 minutes to get a winner.

I was so so happy and some of my colleagues didn't know why I was. I love football so much, so seeing my team win from behind was awesome.

After and during the event, I took some pictures and I can tell you that i was a blazing evening.
I enjoyed myself.

We boarded boss back home after the event and we'll arrived home safely.

My day was wonderful, I enjoyed the weekend.
