Thanks to the team members of Hindwhale Community for giving me opportunity to make this post in the community in season 19, week 1 engagement challenge SEC-S19 / W1 | "Power of communication skill"

Do you agree with the statement "Communication skill is the power"? Why or why not?

Communicating in the right way can be challenging particularly if one needs to get a job done or one is trying to solve a conflict.

Few communication trends for 2024 are even more efficient and effective to make your customers feel confident that they should trust you with their hard-earned dollars.

Secure your communication and build trust. In the digital world, security is the key.

Leverage blended communication channel. Customers are engaged most of the time in social media and they expect to be get in touch with your company in same way.

Can you provide an example of situation where "Communication skill is the power"?

Recently we see a lot of interest in the area of health communication. In health care settings it can directly impact issues like how quickly patients recover, and how patients and families talk about illness with in helpful or harmful ways. It is all about the way the quality of communication influences our health or well-being.

Some historical examples where "Communication skill is the power" led to significant change?

Conversations don't have to be minefield and however, there are some simple ways to be a communication master in email and conversations.

Effective emails are easy to read, get to the point quickly and don't ask too much.

1.Make good use of subject lines

Grab the attention of your readers to make them open it prepare them for the content by telling them what it is about.

2.Keep messages brief and clear

Re-read your message before sending and cut down the words to get to point.

3.Check the tone

The tone which words are intended to br delivered in email can get lost. So always add an extra point that may convey this.

4.Proofread your message

Basic spelling and fact mistakes can dilute the impact of your message, so always give it one last read through before you send

5.Ask for just one thing

Be specific. Making too many questions in on message can overwhelming and means that reader is likely to delay responding untill they have time to digest it.

6.Don't send an email in exchange of a real conversation

Use email to set up a conversation with few key points of discussion.

7.Don't send important messages until you've thought them through

If you are confused, upset, tried, it's likely that you need some time to really think about what you need to say first.

An effective conversation involves empathy and active listening as well as concise message.

8.Be aware of using filler words

such er, um, or like as they distract from your points, if this is your habit slow down your speech and be cautious about the words you speak.

9.Actively listen

Pay close attention to what the other person says, Make eye contact and repeat back the speaker what you have understood.

10.Get to the point quickly

Challenge yourself to make your question or point in one sentence and then stop talking.

11.Avoid distractions

Such as your phone or inbox whilst communicating with someone else. By giving your full attention you show the other person that you really want this conversation.

12.Tell a story to present or teach

Stories engage different parts of our brain which help listeners to comprehend the message.

13.Be confident in what you say

Don't undermine your own points

14.Be compassionate with others

Don't dismiss others point of view too quickly.

15.Say what you don't mean

To clarify any potential misunderstanding of your messag, pre-empt how the message could be interpreted and share that this is not the message.

You have some solid suggestions to improve communication skills besides telling us how it is used to improve contacts and relations. I vouch for your suggestions as I have practiced them personally in the capacity of a marketing personal.
