Steemit Engagement Challenge S11/W6 - “Most Popular Game of My Country-Badminton”
Hello greetings to all steemians friends wherever they are, how are you today? Hopefully everyone is still in good health and can carry out all activities well. On this occasion I am back to participate in a contest held by the Hindwhale Community in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 11 Week 6 with the contest theme: "Most Popular Game of My Country------(name of the game)"
Every country has games or sports that are popular and highly liked by the people. The types of games and favorite sports are of course different from one country to another. All games have their own charm so that they become interesting to play. In fact, many popular sports and games are competed in a championship. Some games and sports can even bring the country's name to the international world because of the various achievements that have been achieved. In addition, because of sporting achievements also a country becomes popular in other countries.
My country Indonesia is a big country in the world that has a variety of games that are popular even abroad. Indonesia also has various sports that have great achievements. Some of the most popular sports in Indonesia include badminton, football, basketball, volleyball, weightlifting and martial arts. This sport has brought Indonesia's reputation to the international world with its achievements. Although it cannot be denied that there are also popular sports, they have not shown maximum performance.
Badminton is one of the most popular sports in Indonesia. Since long ago my country was famous for its athlete achievements in the badminton game. Until now, badminton has become a sport that can be found in various corners of the country. Sports are always played in various international competitions such as the All England, the Olympics to the world championships. In fact, Indonesia is still considered the king of world badminton, even though this game has started to spread evenly in various parts of the world. Competition for the best title always appears in various international championships.
Indonesia has always had many world-class players from the sport of badminton. Rudi Hartono, Liem Swie King, Susi Susanti, Haryanto Arbi, and Taufik Hidayat are Indonesian badminton players who have world-class achievements. Currently, Indonesia still has several world-class players such as Hendra Setiawan, Muhammad Ahsan, Fajar Alfian, Kevin Sanjaya, Muhammad Rian Ardianto, and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. They have become Indonesia's mainstay in achieving various achievements in the world such as the Olympics, the Thomas Cup or the Uber Cup.
However, when talking about Indonesia's favorite game, it cannot be separated from the most popular sport in the world, namely football. This very popular game is so popular that it reaches all corners, even in very remote areas. Even though Indonesia does not yet have world achievements such as badminton, football is still my country's favorite game. We really hope that one day Indonesia will have the strongest football team that can achieve world achievements and make our beloved country proud.

Badminton! Wow, I would never have guessed!
I knew that football was also big in your country, but badminton came as a surprise.
I always watch it at the Olympic Games and just cannot help but be in awe of how quick the players are, especially in the doubles.
