Hindwhale community has come up with a very interesting topic in this new season engagement challenge and that is, Which is very important for children's brain development: Studying or Playing? It’s a very interesting topic. I am very willing to participate in this contest and give my opinion on this topic . I hope all of you will enjoy my blog. So let's get started.

What is more important for children in their childhood, playing or studying?

Children are just like water, water takes the shape of the container in which it is kept. Just like how we teach or try to raise children, they will follow. Along with the physical and mental growth, knowing basic knowledge of children is also essential. So which is more important for children's in their childhood, playing or studying?

Then I would say learning through play. None can be excluded. Sports are fun for children which keep their mind active and happy which attracts them actively towards the next activity. Children's brains work actively while playing and the brain can easily grasp the activities they are doing because they use their brains more while playing. So we can give the basic knowledge of children through fun practical play. It will enhance their physical, mental and basic knowledge.

For example I can say, a child cannot remember words the he read from a book or remembers for a while and then forgets. But if the same thing can be taught through play and actually showing it to him, he can remember it permanently and even if you don't ask him about it, the child can tell it easily when he sees it. So my opinion is that children should be taught through play rather than textbooks at an early age which will enhance their physical and brain development equally.

Are today's children lagging behind in studies and sports? If yes, explain the reason.

It is at an intermediate level for several reasons. At present we have seen that one side of children has progressed a lot in terms of education and another side children have fallen far behind in education and we have seen that other side children are ahead or behind in both sports and education. It has been for our family, society and modernity. Our family is directly responsible for our good development but if the family fails then the child's development will face many problems.

Besides, we have seen that society plays an important role in the development of children, but the society fails to provide the children with the things that are necessary for the development of children, for which children are seen to be associated with modernity. Nowadays children are getting attached to modern technology as there is no play space for education and physical and mental development. But those who are using it properly are heading towards a bright future and those who are not using it properly are falling behind.

Is online education useful to your children?

Education is very important for the development and growth of the child whether it is online or offline but it is important to know how it is received by the child and how it affects him. I have already said that some children are using it properly and some children are attracted to other things. So the role of family is very important here. If the family can manage the child properly then modern education will facilitate their education. However, it should not be forgotten that physical and mental growth of children is very important because it helps to develop their intelligence.

**How does online education effect your children's mental and physical health? **

Nowadays online education system is very good and improved. Where children are taught through practical examples. The most convenient thing about online education is that no one has to wait to learn something. Every subject is taught by showing examples in a very beautiful way and children or students can see and learn it over and over again.

So we can say that children are completing their education happily, but to be honest, the physical and mental growth of children is very less in this case. Physical and mental development requires work or play which increases children's activity and it helps the body and mind to grow healthily which makes children talented and attracted to other activities.
