Hello Steemians, Good morning and how was your night?, Hope you all had a peaceful night rest?? , I'm @emily08, I want to share how our director dad's burial went on Friday please stay tuned and enjoyed.

Our director lost his dad early this year and the burial was fixed on the 13th of October, it has been a busy week for all the students and all the members of the deceased family and our school has to under go renovation because of the dignitaries that will be coming in for the burial.

Late Prelate Elijah Mboho Akpan is a well known person all over the world, even google recognize him, he wasn't a hidden person, he a very good person who have the interest of others at heart, I have met with hundreds of people who said they're where they're because of him, he has sent alot of people outside the country, sponsored their education and he even own an orphanage, his community were blessed to have him, even if you asked a small child about, he/ she will definitely tells that daddy was good not just for his family but his kindness was worldwide, I'm so blessed I gets to know him person before he passed out, for the few months I have known him I could place my hand on my chest and said he a God sent to the world, leaving around and getting to see him everyday was a privileged. I could remember how he used to send rice for us in the hostel Evey week, if I'm opportune I will write a thousand book about his kindness to mankind.

Early Month of April daddy was sick, he was always going for checkup in the hospital, each time he's passing I believe he do tell his driver to blow the car horn so we know that he has pass n coming back his driver will do same for us to know he's back, he was so fun to be with,if you can gist very well that means you and daddy are best paddy ☺️, he love gist like tomorrow no dey, you can never be bored around daddy, it was so sad the heard that has passed away. It was on a Saturday Eve , a day after good Friday, around 9pm we heard the new of his departure after organizing communion in the church. It was a sad Saturday night for all of us the community,the students, the orphanage and everyone who known daddy in person.

After the demise of our father in the lord thing's wasn't the same again in the environment, everything changed, no one to constantly check on us, no one to send foodstuffs for us every week, no to wave and blow car horn each time he's going out and coming in , no one to gist us about what's happening all over the world, things actually fell apart, the community scattered, alot of students drop out from school, the orphanage wasn't in good shape any more, fast forward to the arrangements for our daddy's burial, everything started taking shape again, I believe everyone was scattered because of his dismissed but everything is going back to normal but it can never be the same again as before.

We the students wasn't left out in the arrangements, our school was under renovation because of the burial coming, yeah we were expecting alot of dignitaries and of course they turned up, imagine having the governor of Akwa Ibom State in person of Pastor umo Eno in our mist that's to show how well done our daddy was, he wasn't just the governor, we have alot dignitaries both outside the country and within our country, the place was filled with big big people, and to the glory of God the burial was successful and the governor of Akwa Ibom State said he will take care of the orphanage and alot of scholarship was given to almost all the students. It was a successful burial, we all missed him and he will forever be input heart ❤️
