Contest announcement : I believe in self confidence
Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a wonderful day? Today I will be participating in a contest organise by @alfazmalek which is titled "I believe in self confidence"
Do you believe in self-confidence or not? Describe self-confidence in your own words. |
---|
As a person I definitely believe in self confidence and according to my own personal knowledge the term self confidence can be seen as an act of believing in one self that one can achieve and accomplish any given task that comes in future.
To further explain the term, for example if you are a painter and you are being given a job to paint three story buildings, the process whereby you accept the job positively disregarding the risk involved means that you are self confident.
What is the difference between self-confidence and overconfidence and how should both be kept under control? |
---|
Now like I'd mentioned earlier that self confidence is the act of believing in yourself that you can execute any given task seamlessly, meanwhile overconfidence means the act of believing in yourself meanwhile you know within you that maybe that job is too much for you.
This type of confidence comes along with pride (hubris) because the person will be expressing this in other to impress others around him or her.
Is there any task which was not possible for you but you completed it through self-confidence? |
---|
Yeah, and this task was school, yeah back then in school coupled with the challenges that I was faces at that point many of my friends didn't even believe that I will even make it out of school, they all thought that I was going to drop out.
But despite the situation I believed in myself and through the process called self-confidence I was able to pull through and manage to complete my studies in the university.
This will be the end of my entry and I will like to invite some of my friends to take part in this amazing contest
