Soil is the mixture of many organic compounds minerals gases and some other nutrients they are together to support the life soil has three phases like solid minerals and organic about 8 billion people live on this earth according to search about 95% food comes from the soil without food we can't survive.

Soil is the most important for the quality of life A ideals lines are here we are all depend on soil without soil there is no life and no soil without life they have evolved with each other the earth is our first home its main source of food especially drinking source water comes from under the earth.

Importance of soil in our life

Soil plays vital role in our life we also depend on it especially for food purpose we can't deny its importance in our life after food its main source of forests and nutrients here some points for it's importance:

  • Soil is very important for agricultural environment.
  • Food and other biomass produce from the soil.
  • It is source of raw material.
  • Soil protect us from floods to store the water.
  • It is the main source to feeding the population including organisms.
  • The main point is that bricks made from clay which helps to make our house.
  • Soil provides us plants and trees.
  • Soil stores the carbon when climate changes.
  • It act's as buffer pollutants.

Students know better about the importance they know about the soil and microorganisms which lives in soil it improves the air and water quality it is the habitat of living organisms life belongs to the earth.

Steps to save the soil

Soil consists of many nutrients so it is very important to save the soil if we do not save the soil we will face many environmental problems in the future the main problem of food and water comes from soil when soil do not save we will face air pollution and other pollutants so here are some steps to save the soil:

Moderate Supply of Chemicals

It has been seen from the last hundred years that the use of pesticides, fungicides, insecticides has been increased very much in the last few years and this is causing many serious issues for the soil. The accumulation of these chemicals in the soil is very much dangerous for the soil.

The composition of the soil is disturbed due to which the soil erosion started that is a major cause of the destruction of our beautiful soil. Therr are many harmful metals and other organic salts that are used in these chemicals and they can harm the fertility of the soil if they are use in large excess.

So, it is also better to control the supply of such kind of chemicals to the soil so that we our soil could remains save from the damaging. There should be proper management that can work on the local level to guide the farmers in this regard so that they can minimize the loses and maximize the gain from their crops.

Proper Drainage System

There has been also a very important issue regarding the disposal of the wastage that are arisen from the domestic and the industrial areas. In near past, there was a very bad arrangements for these disposals and it directly goes to the unpopulated areas of the city where they got rise to the dirty lakes and water lodges.

The stay of this dirty and polluted water can also damage the fertility and the purity of the soil. So, there should be some proper arrangements for the diaposal of such wastes and the local management should be aware of the drainage and disposal system of all the areas that are linked to their domain.

Crop Rotation

Crops have a great impact on soil when we do the crop rotation that process conserve the soil different crops on same soil will prevent the overgrowth and cause lack of fertility in the soil watering the soil is most important when we grow different crops on same soil crops are never rotating and some crops will gain more water. the moisture of soil is not dangerous for the crops water gives many benefits to the soil and also protect the soil the PH of soil is very important to maintained for better growth of crops.

Planting

Planting of trees are very good idea for protection of soil roots of the trees are hold the soil when tree grow the roots go deeper in the soil and cover the soil under the earth forests help to landscape moreover forests cause the rain and have a great impact on our soil planted tree is very simple way to save the soil trees have many benefits instead of protecting the soil.

Drainage system is necessary to protect soil from erosion, you mentioned a good point, I like that.

thanks for your review

We can do soil conservation in two ways. One is biologically, such as controlled deforestation. A new forest must be created before any forest can be cut down. and adequate plantation. Reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and synthetic pesticides.

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

Your observations and imaginations about the preservation are really good. You try your best to explain the adverse effects of soil and land pollution.

It has been seen from the last hundred years that the use of pesticides, fungicides, insecticides has been increased very much in the last few years and this is causing many serious issues for the soil. The accumulation of these chemicals in the soil is very much dangerous for the soil.

Yes, The use of pesticides is very dangerous for soil as well as the habitants of soil. It kills the microorganisms and the Myccorhiza which are the symbionts and helps the plant uptake of nitrogen.

Besides these Pesticides and chemicals are also dangerous for human beings. We should reduce the use of chemicals and try to produce products naturally.

I hope if we follow the steps you mentioned Inshallah one day we make our soil healthy and ever green.

Good luck in the contest and Keep sharing such informative articles with this community.
