This is my entry to the contest, "Steemit Engagement Challenge/S19/W2 - Life without electricity." This contest is organized by @hindwhale for the "Hindwhale Community."
Electricity is one of the most useful utilities in our lives, along with water, shelter, and transportation. In the 21st century, we all have experienced the importance of having electricity in our lives. Electricity is useful for almost all the activities in our lives. So, I will discuss some of these activities with you.

What kind of equipment would be required to live a hassle-free life?

1. Kitchen:
   In the kitchen, we have to use most of the equipment powered by electricity. Our important equipment, such as rice cookers, ovens, toasters, air fryers, and many more.
2. In the education:
   We use electricity for educational activities widely, like classroom activities, the internet, online teaching, and more.
3. Transportation:
   Nowadays, transportation is also heavily dependent on electricity, such as electric trains and the new trend of electric vehicles.
4. Healthcare:
   Almost all the healthcare items in hospitals are powered by electricity. This is a crucial use of electricity since there thousands of patients' lives are currently dependent on electricity.
5. Agriculture:
   Compared to the past, a large number of agricultural items are powered by electricity nowadays.
6. Industries:
   Almost all industries, such as food, agriculture, metal, chemicals, and many more, totally depend on electricity.

Here, I have only given a few examples of electricity use. So, life without electricity is something that we will find much more difficult to imagine.

Would you be able to cope with life without electricity?
According to my lifestyle, I won't be able to cope with a life without electricity. Since I have to use many electrical appliances in daily life, especially in my job as a university teacher.

How would your daily life and work life be without electricity from now onwards?
In a world without electricity, we will have to do more work with manpower. It will also be very difficult to fulfill the requirements through production since there is no support for electricity in the factories and industries. Even at home, we all will have to do much more work since there is no support from electricity.

Also, doctors will need to do much more work to protect the patients since it will be very difficult to protect them with the limited resources at the hospital. Also, in a world without electricity, doctors and nurses will have to be more skillful to carry out the work.
Education or access to information will be very limited and difficult to reach due to the unavailability of electricity. We all know that education is developed largely with the use of the Internet; it will be very difficult for teachers and children to engage in such kind of educational activities. Also, especially in STEM education, the practicals won't be able to be conducted due to the unavailability of electricity and the internet.
However, with the unavailability of electricity, people will reach out to each other well and have more meaningful communication. Also, people will improve their social lives without sticking to social media platforms. Also, in a world without electricity, people will spend time with each other.
