How Extracurricular Activities Help Children in their Physical and Mental Growth |
---|
Activities out of the class room plays an important role in shaping children which prepares them to success in life's journey and providing them with all round benefits like; healthy lifestyle, professional, academic and social growth.
With extracurricular activities, children can learn how to solve problems, manage their time properly by prioritizing their daily task and these activities also boost their self-esteem and self-confidence.
Do Today's Children Love to Participate in Extracurricular Activities or are They forced by Their Parents? |
---|
Today's children like to participate in extracurricular activities more with my observations. When it comes to extracurricular activities, many children do not wait for their parents to give them go ahead but genuinely pick interest where they have passion for or talents. Parents' jobs is to encourage and guide them through but unfortunately, most parents tend to discourage their children.
Is it Necessary for Children to Participate in Extracurricular Activities? |
---|
I would say a big YES to this question because there are great benefits when children engage in extracurricular activities which I have mentioned above.
The Best Extracurricular Activities for Today's Children |
---|
Children enjoy extracurricular activities that they love, have passion for and find it useful.
For physical activities, outdoor adventures like; nature exploring, camping and hiking are good. Playing of musical instruments, dancing, sports ( swimming, basketball, tennis or soccer), art and craft like; painting, drawing which nurtures their sense of creativity and imagination are the best for today's children.
I will invite @eliany, @mvchain and @ruthjoe to join the contest.
Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.
Hello friend,
Extracurricular activities are very important in physical and mental development. All sports including football, basketball, cricket, volleyball are important for building our body. Cultural activities or debating competitions are good for the mental development of children. You have written very well about children's extracurricular activities.
Good luck to you.
Hello friend
Thank you for the invite.
This topic reminded of my childhood. I played do much that my mum taught me many things using songs. That was the only way she could get me to learn.
Best wishes
I've seen how these activities can really light up a child's world. My little sister joined a drama club, and suddenly, she's more confident and outgoing than ever before. It's not just about learning lines; it's about discovering who she is and what she loves.
It's refreshing to see how independent kids are becoming these days. My cousin, for instance, begged her parents to let her join a coding class because she's obsessed with technology. It's like they're forging their own paths and following their hearts, which is pretty inspiring if you ask me.
Absolutely! My own experience tells me that these activities are invaluable. Whether it's learning teamwork through sports or building creativity through art, there's so much for kids to gain. It's like giving them wings to fly and explore their potential in ways they never thought possible.
Enlighten me with your feedback here
Thanks
@adylinah I appreciate how you emphasize the importance of nurturing children passions and talents. Its evident that you have a deep understanding of the positive impact these activities have on children's physical mental and social well-being. Best of luck with the contest
For shaping personalities of children and for enhancement of their physical and mental growth extra particular activities are important so if your children are willingly doing it then this is good but otherwise you can encourage not force your children to do so.
Good luck 🍀
