Before anything I will like to explain what power up is and it's benefits in my own understanding

What is power up

Power up is the process of converting your liquid steem to steem power.

Or you can say that is the process of transferring your tradable token which is steem to become steem power.

Reason and purpose

Steem powerup is very important since it increases your voting power and powering up also helps the steemit platform to grow.

Power up also helps to grow your reputation on steemit

Now I will like to show you how I powered up my account

steps1 sign in

First of all I have to log into my steemit account and then log into my wallet,

At first when you log in your account writings will be written in black color meaning you haven't signed in and you need to do that and to achieve that just touch the three horizontal lines out the upper right of the wallet and many options will appear then you click the option which says sign in after which an option asking you to add your keys will appear,

** Click on it **

step2 tap on the steem you want to power up

After you're done with the first step you will notice that the letters that was once black has become green writings showing that you've successful signed in,

Tap on the tradable token which is the steem and three to four options will appear then just choose the one which says power up

Step3 add the amount you want to powerup

Now you're almost done

After taping on the powerup a option will come out asking you to input the amount you want to powerup.

Just input the amount you wise to power up and tap on the option which says power up and ok then you have successfully powered up
