Hello dear friends! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this Steemit engagement challenge season 19 week 5 in this Hindwhale Community. The topic of this challenge is about "Why is gender equality necessary?". So let's start without any more delay of time.
What does gender equality entail, and what are the advantages? |

Gender Equality, a very important topic to discuss because it is the need of current era. Basically, the gender equality is the giving equal rights and opportunities to both male and female without any discrimination. As we all know that the man and woman are very important parts of our society because they have to perform different activities throughout their lives.
The gender equality tells us that the men and women, boys and girls enjoy the same rights, opportunities and resources regardless their ganders. That equality can be found in each and every aspect of our lives such as at houses, economic sectors and in the decisions making processes also. The gender equality can influence the development of one's country.
Also the gender equality can put many positive impacts on the economic growth and development of country as well. This is because, it encourage the women to work with men at the same desk without any hesitation as the Allah Almighty has blessed with many abilities which shows that they can work together with men. So let's discuss about advantages of gender equality.
When the men and women, have equal rights, work at the same place they can done that work more beautifully with their cooperations.
Gender equality can decrease poverty and make families strong financially and socially. This is because, when both husband and wife i.e men and women work their income increases.
Gender equality decrease illiteracy because when the girls and boys study at the combine institutions such as in universities, it makes them more educated and skillful.
Is gender equality crucial for all people, not just women? |

Yes, of course the gender equality is very important for man and woman because it is not only women's issue. Imagine a society, where the woman are deprived of their rights i.e there is no any concept of gender equality. Then what will be the condition of that society? Surely, that society will at its worst because when the woman remain uneducated, they remain unable to takeover their children and family.
When these children will grow, you will see a lot of deformities in them which happened due to social discrimination. Because they grew up in a society where their mother was uneducated as she has faced social discrimination in his whole life and has spent her whole life in illiteracy. So what will happen to such children when they grow up and go out into the society?
Yes definitely, they will create serious problems for the whole society and then for the country as well. As they will perform such activities as robberies, thefts and drugs addiction too. So who is guilty of all these things? Of course the same man who did not give freedom and gender equality to his women and kept them in a kind of prison in the form of social discrimination.
From these aspects you can understand that the gender equality is crucial for all the people because it influence the whole country and the people living in it. And the place where the woman has equal rights and they are free to work in every sectors of their choice they can put many positive impacts on the economic growth and development of country. That is why the gender equality is very important.
What are your thoughts on gender equality, specifically concerning the circumstances in your country? |

Actually, the gender equality is a global issue and it's rules and regulations can vary from country to country as some of them promote gender equality but some of them are against it. But is also a fact that everyone has a right to live his live as he/she want to live so believing in that thing, my country Pakistan is also promoting gender equality and providing the equal Opportunities to boht men and women in every sectors.
One of the biggest example of gender equality in Pakistan is the chief minister of Punjab Pakistan is a lady named Maryam Nawaz who is serving since the past few months as a CM. Besides them, numerous woman are working with the man in the same offices at the same desk. Also many young girls are selected in Pakistan army and other police departments of my country Pakistan.
Besides them, the government of Pakistan has build many schools and colleges where the transgenders can study, get education and gain their desired skills to stand up in the society. So seeing all these things, I also promote the gender equality so that the girls of my country can fulfill their dreams and achieve their desires accordingly.
How to educate our children to understand this issue? |

Yes educating the children to understand gender equality is very important and that thing require the collective efforts of parents, teachers and other family members. But I believe that thing should start from home where the parents should treat their children especially the sons and daughters equally. The things they buy for their sons, must buy it for their daughters too and give them Infront of both of them. Many other practices are required to educate children for gender equality such as:
The parents should teach their children about gender equality with the help of real world examples at their houses.
They should have an open conversation with their children about various aspects of gender equality so they can understand the things easily.
At schools, the teachers should teach the children about gender equality through different stories and other lessons.
Also they should held seminars about the gender equality at school level to provide them more brief information about that aspect.

I completely agree that parents and teachers play a crucial role in shaping children's understanding of this important topic. Having open conversations and using real examples are great ways to help kids grasp the concept easily. Seminars at school level can also provide additional information and create awareness among students.
