My first delegation to @Hindwhale community | Learn benefits of delegation
Good morning and hello my Steemit friends. First of all, I welcome you all to my new post. And I hope you all are very well and healthy. Today I have come to share some information about a new topic with you guys. Today I delegated 100 SP from my wallet to Hind Whale Community. So today I want to tell you about how I donated that SP to the Hind Whale community and what is the meaning of delegation and its benefits. I hope you guys like my post. Then let's start,
Delegation |
---|
Delegation means that if we donate our Steem Power to the curation account of another community like #HindWhaleCommunity, then the Steem Power of that community's curation account increases. And that community supports our posts and uses our Steem Power to vote on other people's posts. We cannot vote on our own post, but if we vote on someone else's post, then that community supports our post. And give valuable vote on our post. The amount of Steem Power we delegate from our wallet to that community. The more Steem Power that community grows. And the more support we get from that community.
When we delegate Steem Power from our wallet to someone, the first question that comes to us is whether it is safe to delegate or not? |
---|
So let me tell you that delegating Steem Power from our wallet to someone is not at all harmful and dangerous. This process is 100% safe and beneficial. We can cancel our delegated amount at any time. Only and only we have the right on the amount of our delegate. That is why we can delegate it to anyone at any time and can also cancel that delegation.
How can we delegate our steam power to someone else's account? |
---|
I had no knowledge about delegation. But just a few days ago, @pathanapsana uploaded a post about delegation on her account. Because of that I was influenced to delegate to our #Hindwhalecommunity. And about that I took help from @pathanapsana and she very nicely explained to me what is delegation and what is its process. So first of all I want to thank @pathanapsana a lot for that. So let me tell you how to do delegation?
First open the Steem World (https://steemworld.org/) website.
After opening the Steem World website, there will be an option to sign in on the right side, click on it.(screenshot-1)
After clicking on the option of sign in, that website will ask you for your Steemit account name and private posting key, fill it up.(screenshot-2)

After clicking on the option of delegations, four more options will appear. Incoming, Outgoing, Expiring and Delegate. In that click on the delegate option.(screenshot-5)
After clicking on the delegate option, a page will open as shown in the screenshot.
Where you have to fill some information. In which account you have to delegate, the name of that account and how much SP you want to delegate, that amount.(screenshot-6)
After that click on the OK button.

After clicking on the OK button, the Confirm Delegation page will open. In that the information you have filled up is correct and it will display the percentage of SP you are delicating.(screenshot-7)
After checking the information, click on the Yes button.
After clicking on the Yes button, another page will open asking you to active key.(screenshot-8)
After filling up the active key, click on the Yes button.

- After clicking on the Yes button, your delegation will be complete. And it will display on the page of the community to which you have been delegated.

So it was a very easy delegation process. Friends, we are not going to be harmed by delegation. Rather, we are also going to be benefitted. Because the more we take our community forward, the more that community and the people of that community will support us. So for that we have to do a teamwork. And everyone has to contribute a little bit to their community. So that our community can grow and everyone gets support from our community.
💞 Thank you so much for reading my post 💞

Great! everyone's support is worth always, and it shows the growth of the community
Yes, that's why I have used the word teamwork in my post. Because if we all become a team and contribute a little bit to this community, then no one can stop our community from growing. And the community is giving us so much support, so it is our duty to contribute a little to the community and take it forward.
