Two images above, explains about two Rivers that never mix.

Welcome to OGUTA LAKE (the mysterious lake)
The Oguta Lake is in Imo State, in the Southeast of Nigeria. It is the largest natural lake found in Imo State, located within the rainforest region of Niger Delta.
The Oguta lake's catchments is made up of the water flowing from Njaba river, Orashi river and part of River Niger floodplain.

What is the mystery here
Apart from the floodplain from River Niger, the bone of contention here is the Njaba and Orashi river.

These are actually humans, they are said to be co-wives of a great warrior many years ago in the ancient Imo.
Njaba was the first wife, very caring and loving.
She worshipped her husband like God and never allowed heresay come between them.

Though a very strong rumour have been flying all over the village for a while about her hero's plan to bring in a new wife. But she have been keeping quiet because, if the husband have not said it to her, Then it's not true.

Because of this, the peace of the home was already at stake, afloat, she was just holding herself like a time bomb waiting for the right time to explode.

Not until one faithful morning morning...
The most beautiful, caring, and loving woman as the husband normally tease her, Njaba, she had earlier left to the stream, upon her return, she overheard the husband conversing with his friend about his plan of bringing in a new wife, but his major obsession was how to convey the news to the wife. She will not like it. She heard a sound..

This time around, she tried to hold herself as usual, nooo, she can't bear this any longer. She felt betrayed. It was unknown to her when the pot of water on her head descended on the ground and shattered in thousand pieces.

Her anger was like a burning furnace, at this time she can melt a metal. She bursted into the conversation. Her statement was plane, short and simple, though still in respect "my lord, any day you bring in a new woman in this house, same day this house loses her peace". She said. Gbam gbammm.

But it is not done anywhere in the world that a woman would control or tell a strong Igbo man what to do.
That was rather enough reason, atleast the wife knows now.

He immediately fast tracked his plan, paid the due rights and that was how Orashi became part of the family. But what is the joy of marriage when there is no peace.
Her arrival brought in a great war, a war that promises not to end even if the world ends.

Because the both wives Njaba and Orashi were goddesses from different kingdoms. Their fury raged at detriment of their neighbors, hence many vulnerable indigenes in the community were displaced.

Such enmity that endured till dead. They both turned to river, still flowing in the same direction as co - wives but still maintains thesame enmity, that's why they never mix.

Any attempt to mix these two bodies of water together will always lead to an untold disaster and in some cases could lead to the dead of the person and/or persons involved.

A man who heard the story, became too curious with a little disputation, hence, he vowed that he must make the two waters mix.
Upon the waters touching each other caused the capsize of his engine boat. It caused a very violent wave, lightning and a near earthquake.
A scenario that almost cost him his life, thanks to the custodian fishermen who went for his rescue.

As a result of the impending doom his irresponsible action have brought to the land, the anger of the water will continue to rage until it takes a head or more as far as that same man still lives in that community.

Therefore, he was sent away to a distant community where he have to saddle until the required sacrifice have been made to appease the Goddesses of the water.

The end.

Thanks to the initiators of this wonderful contest.
Best regards to @aroundtheworld and @nevlu123
