The issue of maintaining the balance of the environment is being seriously considered all over the world. As a result, the balance of the environment in the MDGs in the past and now in the SDGs has become important. In the context of Bangladesh, tree planting is inextricably linked with maintaining the balance of the environment. Bangladesh should have 25 percent forest cover; Where at present the forest cover is only 16 percent. There is no substitute for massive tree planting in private and social enterprises to fill this gap.

Definition:

The tree planting campaign is an integrated initiative to create awareness about the benefits of tree planting in maintaining the balance of the environment in Bangladesh.

Purpose:

To create awareness among the people at the union level about the benefits of tree planting, so that they are encouraged to plant trees extensively in private and social enterprises.

Desired results:

• To create awareness among the common people at the union and village level about the benefits of tree planting.
• To create awareness among school going students about the benefits of tree planting at the union level so that they can make their families and neighbors aware about it.
• Ordinary people and students will be encouraged to plant trees extensively in their own space in private enterprises.
• Social enterprises collectively encourage the planting of trees along roadsides, schools, mosques, temples, cemeteries, crematoriums or other open spaces.

In addition to tree planting campaigns, The Hunger Project and volunteers are conducting various programs across the country, including various awareness campaigns, to ensure a pollution-free environment and sustainable development. It is to be noted that The Hunger Project is also active in environmental protection as an active member of 'Bangladesh Environmental Movement'.

Here Is My Tree Plantation :

I brought a guava sapling from my garden.

Then I took her to one side of the house to plant saplings.

Let's select a place where there is light air. And there I made a hole.

After digging the hole, I bring dung manure to put in the hole so that the seedlings grow well.

Then I slowly finished planting the seedlings.

This time I brought water to keep the seedlings alive.

This is how I finish planting a sapling. Then I planted another sapling in our house and I loved planting saplings.
