Egg-semolina pitha made of eggs and semolina is a very popular recipe. It is easy to make and almost everyone makes this pitha because it is so much tasty. In the afternoon, I like to eat egg-semolina pitha with hot tea.

What it takes to make egg-semolina cake

  • 2 eggs.
  • One cup of sugar.
  • 2 cups semolina.
  • Half cup of powdered milk.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • Quantitative amount of oil for frying.

  • First I broke 2 eggs in a bowl and beat them with a fork. Beat the beaten eggs with 1 cup of sugar and a little salt and mix well so that the sugar melts completely.

  • When the sugar melted, I mixed 2 cups of semolina in it. I continued to mix the semolina little by little, so that it was well mixed.

  • Then I gave it with powdered milk. I started mixing them with semolina. After mixing powdered milk, I started mixing the whole mixture by hand. That's how I made Suzy's dough.

  • When the dough is ready, cover the bowl with a lid and leave it for 15 minutes.

  • I put oil in a pan. In this time I made the size of semolina pitha. For this I first put a small amount of ghee in my hand. I made a small ball shape with the help of a small amount of semolina dough and flattened it with pressure.

  • When the oil got hot, I started to release the flat balls made of semolina one by one. I didn't give too much at once, it could stick to one another.

  • The semolina pitha swell in hot oil. When both the backs turned brown, I lowered the oil with the help of a sieve. In this way I fried all the pitha.
