Сontest "Photos of feathered friends" week 1-The Blue and Yellow Macaw

Hello everyone friends of the new Steemit-Contest community, thank you @strawberry for organising this original contest.

A few years ago, the photography club I belong to, Ibiza Best Photo, organised an excursion in which the main objective was to photograph some traditional old doors in Ibiza known as "Feixes", in the area of Talamanca.

My phothograpy friends:

It often happens that when you are looking for something to photograph, something completely different comes along and captures your attention.

In this case, a beautiful blue and yellow Macaw that we found at the beginning of the excursion.

The bird's owner told us that his name was Felipe and that he was very sociable, which we were able to see for ourselves.

He immediately made friends with my son and we had some very funny scenes. My son loves animals and enjoys socialising with them, and this parrot was very friendly and soon landed on his arm and ended up on top of his head.

The blue and yellow macaw comes from South America and its scientific name is Ara ararauna, they are very affectionate and intelligent and can live for more than 50 years.

I am not a fan of keeping birds in cages, so I was happy to see Felipe free on the beach walking with his owner and flying free. If I was lucky enough to live with a parrot like that, I would take him out for a walk, of course!

I hope to meet Felipe again one day, it would make me very happy!

... oh! and this is "Ses Feixes"!
