I put food for the birds in the feeder. But now they can get food for themselves, winter is behind them
It always seemed to me that male peacocks have a beautiful tail.
"Externally, the girl peacock is easily distinguished from the male by the color of the feathers. The boys were rewarded by nature with bright plumage with a golden or metallic hue. The feathers shimmer in the sunlight.
In females, the plumage is duller and inconspicuous. The only bright area on the body of the peacock is the neck.
Even the color of the crest differs. Girls wear a faded brown tuft, and boys have it shimmering with bright colors and glistening in the sun."
That's new information to me, Thanks for sharing. plus can we assume the bird was a bit lazy to get food for himself hehe anyways It's so nice of you to put food in the feeder for them in winter, Highly appreciate this act of yours, Thank you.
