Hello @juanmolina Preventive actions are taken to potential nonconformities, i.e. problems that could occur if actions are not taken, the potential or actual nonconformities arise from a breach of a requirement established in a standard on which the quality management system is based, it can also be a law, or a requirement of a customer ... I imagine you mean the rules and procedures manual. As you should know, these manuals have a legal character within the organizational structure.
And yes, when the established procedures are not complied with, it is even possible that a reprimand and even dismissal procedure will be started, which could even lead to judicial sanctions.
