RE: How not to launch a project? Look at Blurt & Zapata :)
And now... here we have the Blurt and Zapata airdrop of which I heard for the first time on July 5th (one day before the airdrop).
The snapshot for airdrop was taken on the 20th of May.
It had the potential, it was even highlighted on Coinmarketcal.com as a promising and interesting project that could cause some fuzz and interest last week... but, what happened? No information, no fuzz, no nothing!
I don't think anyone talked about the promise of the project on coinmarketcal. That event was posted by me on coinmarketcal.
To be honest, I don't have any expectations with these chains but the people behind it are working hard on it.

Thanks for the reply... are you part of the team? By the way, I know the event was on Coinmarketcal, but the Coinmarketcal team featured the event and posted about it in their daily newsletter and so... that is what I referred to :)
I know the snapshot was in May, that is why it wouldn't have caused any bullish tendencies to the Steem token no matter what.
The funny thing is... why don't they post the Blurt link on their twitter profile? Why isn't it any official information available anywhere? Even those who want to use it, can't really find a way to use it and anything else. That was the main point of the post... It might be a great project and that the team is working better, but they would definitely need some work on spreading information and marketing if they want this to go somewhere good!

Coinmarketcal featured it in their daily newsletter because it got around 1100 votes and if you browse coinmarketcal, no other project is even halfway of 1100. I don't know who voted but it did get votes. I told the team after it had already got over 1050 votes.
I don't know if it a good project or not. I don't know if it was wise to create a new chain but without proper marketing, even the best of the projects won't get off the ground. They can still make a good project out of it if they promote it heavily.
Yeah, it can turn good... but they have done lots of mistakes in the start that will make it way harder! Thanks for your feedback!
