Australians can now buy bitcoin in their local post offices
The democratization of Bitcoin and cryptos notably involves their ease of access. This is a big step in this direction which has just been made in Australia, because it will now be possible to come and pay your bitcoins directly at post offices!
Bitcoin available in 3,500 Australian post offices
Bitcoin.com.au is one of Australia's oldest bitcoin buying and selling platforms (BTC). It recently announced its partnership with the Australian Post (Australia Post), so that it is possible to acquire its precious BTC by paying for it at post offices.
After pre-ordering their bitcoins at Bitcoin.com.au, users will be able to go to one of the 3,500 partner post offices spread across Australia.
Postal services will accept cash and bank card payments in exchange for cryptocurrencies. The minimum investment is 50 Australian dollars and the maximum 50,000 AUD.
It should be noted that in addition to bitcoins, the ethers of the Ethereum network (ETH) can also be purchased via post offices.
Bitcoin's access to the general public, in places of daily life, is essential for its adoption. After the 7-eleven local shops in the United States, it is very positive to see that it will be the same in the establishments of an institution like the Australia Post Office, 200 years old, which is therefore very familiar to all Australians.
